If you knew then, what you know now
I'm on a posting roll today, Oh know i hear you all shout!!
What would you make the most of, or do?
I would have enjoyed school more as it is true, they are the best years of your life.
I would also have stayed single longer, and enjoyed my teenage years more

Re: If you knew then, what you know now
I got married in my senior year of high school. I wouldn't change anything about having my boys, but I would have stayed single alot longer.

Can't think of anything, with the bad times came good , can't separate them and wouldn't want to have missed the good

Would you do anything differently knowing what you know now???
Like one of mine, when i was at school, i just wanted to leave, get out to work and be treated like grown up. Then one day, i was a grown up and wished i'd made the most of my time at school, as it was a great time.

Re: If you knew then, what you know now
If I said I would change the person I married I wouldn't have the same kids I have now or a diff profession , I wouldn't have met the wonderful people I met along the way. Maybe I would have stuck with teaching because I think I would have been able to touch more lives that way. I thought of going back to work and teach but I have heard it is just not the same. I think I would do real well with the kids, it's the parents and their lack of parenting I would have a problem with. Boy, can I make a short answer long I did kiss the Blarney stone once

Tough question. To change somethings it would change everything! My marriage kinda sucks but I love my kids so how could I change one part and still have the other??

Re: If you knew then, what you know now
You don't have to say what you would change, but if there's anything you would have made the most of, or waited a bit longer.
Another one for me would be, i wouldn't have worried so much about getting married, i would have enjoyed my life and had fun until the day came i met my husband. I wouldn't change anything about my marriage, but i wouldn't have worried so much whether i'd get married.

Re: If you knew then, what you know now
You bet. I would have done things differently, but then if I did, I wouldn't have gotten to know you, or anyone else here. I would have liked to have gone to college, or even stay in the military. But then I would have never meet Ma. So I have no regrets other than no college degree.

Re: If you knew then, what you know now
It's so hard to go back since that means I wouldn't have the amazing kids, the career and the friends I have now. But if that stayed the same then I would have married my soul mate before he went away to the army. It would have been hard, but worth it.

Re: If you knew then, what you know now
Since I don't know what's in the chapters ahead, or what happens in the final chapter...I can't say that things didn't happen the way they should have, or that I'm not exactly where I should be right now...

Re: If you knew then, what you know now
The only thing I would have done differently would have been not to be so reserved with people when I was younger, to have the confidence and not worry about their judgements on me. Now I am old and grey lo lol lol, I have that confidence and really dont give a shit what people think of me!!! I have good friends and a close family and love and a happy home, what more could I ask for...
