What things have improved your life?
Well I think I can Honestly say that moving from the U.K 12 years ago really improved my life.
NOT saying the U.K is a bad place to live mind you, it's just too much of a hectic life.

I like those above me here, have to agree it's friends and family, and my pets too....but I gotta give my automatic dishwasher an honorable mention for sure....the Internet, it has broadened my world and my mind so much.

I suppose it would be silly to say that aerial stunt flying improved my life....lol But i still say that the military improved my life. I'd be a mess if i hadn't joined

I too, once left the UK for pastures new, but after 5 years I realised that here is where my heart is.
The best move I ever made was leaving the bank where I worked, to go self-employed. I can't believe I put up with that arrogant prick of a manager for so long.

Children change lives all the time and that is wonderful,
But DISHWASHERS come on......lol....I've got one too it's the wife.......lol....(if she reads that she would kill me, o sorry I forgot she can't read or write in English.)
Anyway I think the net has in one way or another changed every ones life,its gr8.
And as for arrogant pigs Liberalwife I think your x boss should meet my X boss from my time in England. she was a real bitch,she probably wasn't getting any from Hubby.

Hey, hey, hey!!! The time my automatic dishwasher has saved me is time I've been able to redirect to family, home, charities and life in general...didn't think I needed one, never really wanted one, I considered them to be an unnecessary luxury item...then I got one for a wedding present.
There's a health factor too, dishes get so much cleaner, and the sanitizing cycle makes one helluva difference during the cold and flu seasons....

I do think that the only real way to improve my life, is to improve myself...to be a little bit better of a person each day than I was the day before.

I do agree with you,the way your dishwasher has given you more time for the family and such like, there are all kinds of appliances that help you save time, they might seem a luxury, but when something you have helps you dedicate more time on other things like family and charity I think they deserve a big thumbs up.

Having no choice but to work hard at my business, my relationships, my hobbies, etc...because I refused to quit, and in spite of my f-ed up childhood!
