American football in UK
Just wondering what our UK friends think of American football in UK. New York Giants vs Miami Dolphins playing at Wembly today.
Do people like it or is it just a novelty like Beckham is here.

Over here american football is not televised that often so dont really see much. Dont understand the rules and why do they have to wear all that padding? But of pansys!! lol our rugby players wear T shirts and Shorts and no padding and they are really cool to watch. Nice bums and legs lol lol lol

Re: American football in UK
Taken from todays news:
-----------------------------------------------
'There was even a streaker ,dressed as a referee, the same guy who
got past security at the Super Bowl four years ago and stripped down at midfield before the second-half kickoff.
"Man, that was hilarious," .Jacobs said. "That's one of the funniest things I've ever seen."
----------------------------------------------------
From what I seen, I'm thinking he should save flashing his bits for a warmer day!!!

Do you think it will ever catch on there ? Besides the likes of Lib wanting beckham to bend it and cjroxy wanting to see the short shorts and nice legs and cute butts

Re: American football in UK
I enjoy watching American football, even though our rugby game is just as rough but they don't need all that protective gear!!!

Re: American football in UK
I watched Rugby once. Didn't understand a damn thing. Wasn't sure what they were doing, and who it was that was trying to do it.
Either game would be fine to watch, if I understood rugby, but there is no way that I'm going play. I'm too old for that sort of thing. My bones break way to easily, and takes too long for them to mend.
