Song Lyrics
Music to me is a large part of my life. I currently have close to 8000 mp3s, huge variety of music from classical, rock, dance, country, pop etc. I listen to it in cycles. Anyway I tend to really listen carefully to the lyrics and my mind being weird as it is, I take the lyrics out of the context of the song to see how they stand on their own for example, for something I find uplifting take this line:
"Just then i saw a young hawk flyin'
And my soul began to rise " Bob Seger
or weird:
"Yeah, she looks like she washes with Comet!" Blondie
or appropriate in my case  or in my dreams LOL 
"I'm built to please"
Robert Plant
or even combinations of the above
"I love you most of all In the meshes in my head " T-rex
Do you find any individual song lyrics moving/funny/stupid/etc?

I do so love old Bluegrass lyrics....sooooo colorful!!
I'm not so big on the band Guns 'n Roses ....But...."Sweet Child Of Mine".... I'll readily admit the lyrics are beautiful.

not trying to sound like a know it all here...but i believe that true colours was CYNDI LUAPER......
Cyndi Lauper did a version in the charts yes. But Phil Collins also did a version on his love songs a compilation old and new double cd released in 2004 and the single reached number 26 in the uk charts in november 1998. (if its one thing I know about, its music!! lol).
