Good morning!!!
I'm just sitting here with my coffee, looking out my window at the happy birds at the bird feeders, the happy squirrels foraging on the ground below, it's cool and sunny, the musical church bells up the road just chimed a very uplifting tune....
and I just wanna say "Good Morning" to all of you, have a great day!

I'm sitting here with my coffee listening to the workers lay pavement on the road in front of my house! Oh well, it's been long overdue.... the kids on the buses will be happy. They'll stay in their seats instead of bouncing almost to the ceiling!

I've got clean white sheets flapping on the clothesline and a fresh pot of coffee going....
Ah! I've got a pair of Pileated woodpeckers that are having their breakfast on a couple of trees in my backyard, they aren't that rare, but endangered and always a pleasant site to stop what I'm doing and watch them...

Hi there. Just sitting here having my coffee also. Just finished getting all the leaves in the yard picked up and hauled out to the curb. Next I have to get up enough energy to cut the back yard grass. Aw, a couple more cups of coffee may do the trick.

Started my morning out with a nice cup of hot tea,sitting in my backyard thinkin' I should mow,but Nawwww it'll keep. There's a bit of chill in the air, the leaves from my giant papershell pecan tree drifting down covering the ground. Gonna have a decent pecan crop this year. The air is fresh and clean smelling this time of the morning. At this time, right now, this very moment.......All is right in the world with me.

Sounds nice SS69....Pecans are such a big thing in Missouri this time of year!
All I got is an old Walnut tree that has bore it's last walnut several years ago and will most likely make it to the firewood stash soon...
Got hickory trees so thick here that it's like trying to walk on marbles when you step outside after they have fallen...(Acorns from the oaks have the same effect!)

Well, I'm havin' an ok mornin'. Keepin' an eye on my baby girl..... I let her out last night and about an hour later I noticed her muzzle swelling. She either got into somethin' she's allergic to or got stung by one of those huge bumble bees I've been seein' lately. Gave her some benadryl this last night and again this mornin'. The swelling's goin' down a bit. If it doesn't get a lot better by this afternoon I'll be takin' her to the vet instead of goin' to Whitney for the v-ball game.... fingers crossed!

We had a very warm day yesterday and a swarm of hornets decided to come out of hibernation, they were coming in through a window so we had to do some serious work to rid the house of them and block off their entrance.
I've got one cat severely allergic to their stings, he's damn near died twice because of the hornets but I think he's finally learned not to mess with them!

Got a very good night's sleep last night, the husband started his new job and I had the whole bed to myself!

Good Morning!!! Oh yeah working on the second pot of coffee, and it isn't even 6am yet! The little birdies are coughing and clearing their little throats in order to wake everyone with those sweet little chirps. Maybe it's just too much coffee or not enough sleep but I have the urge to just go out and shake those trees and wake em up a little earlier. And even though I've spent the nite moving from the chair to the couch and roaming around the house while glancing occassionally at all those wonderful infomerricals it's gonna be a great day!
