Mother Nature's rage..
What's the worst Mother Nature throws at you where you live?
Here, it's tornados, but flash flooding can be so wicked around here too....

Re: Mother Nature's rage..
We're quite lucky where I live the worst thing that happened here was a blizzard in 1977. The rest of the time occasional ice/snow storms in winter, pretty moderate the rest of the year

Re: Mother Nature's rage..
Just the occasional tornado, blizzard, and a flash flood. Almost forgot about the temperature fluctuations, can go from 25 to 30 below zero fahrenheit to more than 100 degrees, and I won't even mention the humidity that we get, or the wind chill factors. Other than that, not much happens here.

Re: Mother Nature's rage..
Flooding can be really savage here. We have tornados in the area but most of the time they hit further north from us.

Re: Mother Nature's rage..
For us around here it's mostly tornados/straight line winds, the occasional ice storms. But whatever it is no matter how rough I LOVE IT when it gets bad. Storms rock

Re: Mother Nature's rage..
Here I think it's the snow and ice of winter. We havn't had much except for last winter though. Other than that, it's tornados. Not much of a threat here for some reason though. I've heard it's because they go around lakes.

That about sums it up! And if it's not a flood, it's a drought.

Don't really get bad weather here, we usually miss anything serious.

Re: Mother Nature's rage..
Around here like JCSOS said... its just pretty much snow and ice but ultimately rain doesn't help prior to it snowing or when it snows. So then that makes the winter part really really crappy as far as driving situations goes.

you two suck... the snow and ice are the only good parts of living here. its the heat and humidity in summer that'll kill me.

Try Florida during the summer.

2 to3 months of heat in summer in Florida , you have that up north. I've had both. I'll take 5 months of shorts and t shirts in winter any day over shovelling snow and wind chills. It was just as hot in new England this summer. Never got over low 90's here this summer

I like winter for some parts.... the crappy days makes it more interesting in some ways, so there.
