Brit Invasion!!
After being on this wonderful site for a while now, have noticed that alot more Brits are joining. How do our American counterparts feel about this? as this is a predominant American website.
Are there any differences between conversations I wonder?

Over 32 percent of WN's members are from the US, about 13 percent are from the UK, and Canada users come in under 4 percent, small percentages of users come from every corner of the planet.
I'm thrilled when members are active, regardless of where they live, and I sure love the diversity that can be found here.

Variety is the spice of life. I enjoy chatting with folks from all over the world, all walks of life. The way I see it is that the more I know about other ways of life, traditions, and the more friends I make, the richer I am.

I enjoy chatting with people here from all walks of life. I could say some have become good friends here. It's interesting to here what similarities and likes and dislikes we all have from different parts of the world.

that's a pretty high % considering populations of respective countries, i like everyone but have met some Brits who are OK, LOL. I love the different words we use for the same thing , right CJROXIE, are you feeling a bit knackered after work

I just love the British invasion. Some of my best friends are Brit's. But then there's the other factor, I have a family that came over from UK, so whats not to like about the Brit's.

The Internet is a great way to speak to people from all over the world. It's a lot cheaper than the flights are.
I always felt like its an education.
So many people never get to meet people from outside the area where they live. It's always funny to find out that people had an expectation of a place and find out its nothing like that in reality. A very small example is here in the US. When I first started seeing Kam ,one of my sons freaked out when he heard I was flying into Detroit.The reason was the only thing you ever see on the news here about Detroit is a burnt out horrible neighborhood that basically has shootings everywhere. Of course it is nothing like that and even the worst parts aren't what the news make it out to be.He also doesn't live IN Detroit. I always laugh when people think NJ is what they see on Jersey Shore (The show is filmed where I live). To be honest the biggest problem we have is because of the show. It's really boring here the rest of the time.lol Most of the locals want the show gone!
I am a people watcher so when I see people from other places many times I will go into the chat room and just check them out for a while. I think it's fun.The Aussie's for some reason just make me laugh.Do they all take classes on being funny ?
