Pain threshold
How would you rate your threshold of pain?
Mine is pretty high, which really isn't a good thing at all, cuz it often means that a person with a high tolerance for pain will wait way too long to seek medical attention...
My husband's is way low, way too low....if he skins a knuckle or gets a tiny splinter, he'll whine and cry for a week or more about it,

Re: Pain threshold
Gee! If we both have high threshholds for pain, do that mean we could have one hell of a good time for much, mush longer than we should??????
Anyway, you best take care of yourself, young lady. Sure would miss ya if'n you were to get sick or something...cause we all luv ya!!!

Re: Pain threshold
I have allergies to pain. But I do have a high tolerance to it. I don't like it, but I tolerate it, sometimes to much.

I gave birth to 4 kids. 3 without any pain meds. I'd say mine's pretty high on the scale

Re: Pain threshold
Mine is very high, fell and had a broken arm and only realized it because I couldn't bend it a certain way while I was working LOL....that's not really a good thing though, I could be having a heart attack from some of the stuff I read on here and not know it ROFLMAO

Re: Pain threshold
Very high. Having two kids in an hour with no time for pain relief and being back home in a few hours, I'd say that was high wouldnt you?
I think the horseriding helped tho.

Re: Pain threshold
I haven't had to go through anything incredibly painful on a physical level so I can't really say, I do know it hurts when I break a nail but I don't walk around talking about it . As for childbirth I believe strongly in the epidural...
My strength is more emotional than physical...I'm tough as nails when it comes to handling that kind of pain.

Re: Pain threshold
I have a high threshold to pain....to the point that I get in trouble with the people I love because I wait almost to long to take anything or see the doctor.
