9/11 remembered
Still shocking, still so sad.
To our noble soldiers, past, present and future...we owe all all we hold dear to you...
To those lost that day, our tears will never stop.

heartfelt sadness for those who suffered on that dreadful day but elation in the true human spirit that surfaced that day world wide.
An act that moved the world and an act that will forever be with us.

Re: 9/11 remembered
Aday the terrorists thought would weaken us and have us running scared. Little did they know it would unite nations world wide to fight them and make the free world stronger.
Evrery time I hear a dissident criticize our troops world wide for killing innocent Afghanisand Iraqis I remember 9/11. No military targets that day

Re: 9/11 remembered
Each of us can remember exactly what we were doing that day...it is like time stands still in my heart when I think of the planes as they hit the towers...when the towers collapsed...when the plane went down in the field in PA...when the other hit the Pentagon...lives lost, families forever changed by the tragedy.
Each person around the world felt the jolt and we will never...ever...ever be the same. From the flames to the buildings crashing down, the tear stained faces walking across bridges to the heroes from within and outside the United States...something greater than anyone ever could have imagine rose...the thing prejudice and anger could not squelch...human spirit...survival.
We are not faceless enemies that strike without warning, no matter whether you agree or disagree with the war we all stand together for the mighty shall inherit the earth...not the cowards!!!

Re: 9/11 remembered
i have never forgotten where i was , or what i was doing. on a recent tv program about 9-11, another little-known hero came to light. his name was Ron Rescorla (might not be spelled right), he was the head of security for a major financial company. apparently he had been waiting for another attack after the bombing of the WTC years earlier. after the first plane hit,he immediately started calling for the evacuation of both buildings. his actions undoubtedly saved the lives of several hundred people, but sadly enough, not his own. he was caught on the 15 floor of the second tower to fall. his unbelievable heroism along with the fire and rescue workers that also perished, should ALWAYS be remembered !!!
