Expensive tastes?
Any expensive dishes, food or beverages that you just adore, but is so out of your price range?
A few things I've had the pleasure of dining on that I could never afford myself...Beef Wellington, that's good stuff! Chicken Corden Blu at a high end resturant, hell..I could feed myself for a week on that one pricey menu item.
I've dined on Fresh Lobster flown in from Maine but prefer Alaskan King Crab.

You wife didn't happen to be pregnant at the time, was she? I know how bad those cravings can be!

I paid $15 for a small one in March when I was pregnant with oldest child
But as for expensive tastes I don't have them
Give me KFC and a park picnic over an expensive meal any day

Re: Expensive tastes?
If I have this high urge of cravings for some food, I'll pay the price for what I'm craving.. otherwise I'll try to keep an eye on how much I'm spending on what.
For other things... I treat myself to Arbonne, and occasionally some good clothing such as Harley Davidsons, and some other name brands that I'd want from time to time. Knowing that I don't 'need' all those but just want to know that I can feel/have the expensive taste from time to time. It's just a special treat I consider for myself here and there, is all.

Well...I do like the finer things in life...but if I'm going to splurge, it would be on shoes...not clothes.

I think it would be just fine for all you ladies to have lingerie be a weakness

Re: Expensive tastes?
I couldn't think of anything for this topic until now. When I buy root beer it has to be IBC... and the Dr. Pepper has to be from Dublin, Tx! Two of the more expensive drinks... simple enough

Re: Expensive tastes?
I don't buy many organic products. I don't see that the extra cost justifies it , and there's little difference in taste or quality. I once did a bit of research into it and reckon its all just a big marketing ploy.
