How emotional or unemotional can someone be for you to feel comfortable with them?
Do you like to see sensitivity in a person, does seeing a man cry kinda make you wonder, does seeing a woman who gets emotional frequently make you think "hormonal" instead of sensitive?
Does someone who shows very little emotion or hides it well make you think of them as strong or cold?
When you're upset, do you like to talk to someone who will be as upset as you are through empathy, or talk to someone that will ignore the emotions and just see the "facts and solutions"
When you address deep issues with someone close to you, is it important to you to see their emotional reactions?

Re: Emos
I want someone to listen with compassion but I like the facts. I try to surround myself with friends that will be honest with me, I don't need a cheerleader, I need like minded woman that can keep her cool. Now if I'm really pissed off about something, hell yes, I want her to feel me but do need her to keep the matches out of my hand if I want to burn down a building...LOL...just playing!!!
The other day while I was attending a friend's memorial service one of the men speaking became choked up, I thought it was impressive that this loss had moved him so...if he was crying at every Kleenex commercial I wouldn't find that attractive.
Emotions are an important gauge for us as humans, I don't want to be with someone that is robotic but I don't want someone that is NEEDY...composure is key, if you can be composed and show someone how you feel by all mens do it.

Re: Emos
I think seeing a man cry makes them normal. As for seeing a woman doing it often i wonder what is happening in her life. there may be more than you see.
if that person is hiding there emotions maybe they feel they have to. Plus some just will not show any emotions in public that is the way they have been raised.
It is nice to have someone to talk to that can see what you are trying to say and help you work things out and that can see both sides of what is bothering you. be it work, family, what ever. but it is nice sometimes to have someone get upset with you.
emotions are a part of us. I keep alot to myself happy, sad, worry, ect. but that is the way i am, it keeps everyone happy.
