crossovers
Are there some that you feel have made a sucessful or unsuccessful "crossover"...someone who started out in one career area and crossed over into another?
Like for example...Reba McEntire and the wrestler "The Rock"

Re: crossovers
I wouldnt call this a true crossover, but Bon Jovi has made a pretty smooth move into country music.

I think I can call that a crossover!
I've caught some episodes of Law and Order SVU and kinda like seeing Richard Belzer and Ice-T settled very well in their acting roles.

Re: crossovers
Mark Wahlberg has another movie coming out soon...and I realized that I don't think I've ever seen him in a movie I didn't like, but...I also realized that I don't remember a single hit, song or video that "Marky Mark" did!

Re: crossovers
Not really a crossover but I saw Glenn Close on Broadway in Sunset Boulevard. I knew she could act but was skeptical about the singing. She blew me away, she has a phenomenal singing voice

I've never heard him sing, but...I can imagine it's not good.
I think he has done fairly well crossing over from the over dramatized type roles into more comedic ones.
