House Keeping
Do you jump up and get moving so you can get it done or do you lay in bed and wish the dust bunnies would stop multiplying and find something you have to go do so you can ignore it all?

Re: House Keeping
Right now...I've got an unemployed (again) husband at home, a variety of "special needs" rescued cats, one very large, very old deaf dog...if I don't stay on top of things 24/7...it would bury me.

Re: House Keeping
i figure there are more important things in life than chasing those dust bunnies... keeping things livable is all i care about. although we've had an uphill battle the past month or two... but with a little here and there i can see the light at the end of the tunnel finally.

Re: House Keeping
Maybe I'm the exception on here, but I like my house and clothes to be spotless.
I take pride in my appearance and also like to keep my house clean and tidy.
Something good about going to work in freshly iron shirt with clean suit and polished shoes, and then coming home to clean house, getting beer or champange out and then just kicking back and relaxing.

Re: House Keeping
Right now I'm taking a room at a time and cleaning it from top to bottom. I've cleaned out closets and scrubbed baseboards. There is so much to do around here that if I let it go it would be a nightmare!!!

Re: House Keeping
I use to be very conciencious about cleaning the house. Now, the "dust bunnies" run rampant and cob webs abound. 'Course, then again, I never have to decorate for Halloween.

Re: House Keeping
I can't stand clutter. I clean my house every Saturday. Usually takes me about 3 to 4 hours. I wouldn't say my house could pass the white glove test, but I do try to keep it clean. When I start cleaning there is usually no stopping me til I'm done.

Re: House Keeping
Have not cleaned house in five or so years. I have cleaners come every Friday. So the house is spotless for the weekend. I found it to be quite affordable if you have them come every week.

I would just love some help right now...sorry to say, I've been kinda laid up and pretty sick this week...so...it takes me all day and up into the night doing little bits at a time while I've been ill, just to get the basic daily things done.

My vacuum cleaner bag has yet to be changed since I got it...about 2 years ago. You should see all the stains on the ceiling!
