Trust....in depth
We've all agreed through one topic, discussion or another just how important trust is to us and to our relationships.
How do we define "trust", are there different kinds of trust, different levels of trust...or is trust something that has to complete and total to be actually "trust"
I recall in my past, that in a past relationship or two, my beau would declare his total trust in me...untill...he saw or thought something suspicious...then at that point, his lessened trust of me he defended by saying something stupid...along the lines of it was now something I did, or I said, that broke down his trust (when actually, it was his own silly misguided suspicions)
What about a total lack of trust? Does it ever ring true, that a person constantly accused wrongly of bad things, does develop a newer attitude like..."Might as well be doing it, I'm constantly accused of it"

Re: Trust....in depth
That is why my ex is an ex
His total lack of trust in me
He swears I was cheating on him when I wasn't
He told his sister in law and my best friend he didn't trust me He told them both right in front of me
Now he is my ex

Re: Trust....in depth
I hear ya, tiger! I've got a few ex's in my past, that are ex's for a good reason, they claim they trusted me, but the trust only applied when they could see, be right next to me....the minute I was out of their sight, the trust disapeared and the suspicions came to surface!

Trust is so important and the key to all relationships. It is knowing without seeing and getting the same back from your partner. Easy to say but so hard for some people to practice in real life. I have been blessed to have had that once and doubly blessed to have found it again.
