Hypnosis
Do you even believe a person can be hypnotized? Do you think you could be?
Has anyone here ever tried it as a method to lose weight, quit smoking or solve any issues?
The comedy club routines using hypnosis are pretty funny but I always wonder if they are really hypnotized...
I wouldn't mind trying it once, seems like a kinda cool thing to do...

Re: Hypnosis
You're getting sleepy...sleepy... sleepy... at the thought of these words, you will get up and make a double pot of decafe and think it's the real thing...You'll feel buzzed and wonder why you didn't do it sooner. If you are in tune with this, cluck like a chicken three times...

Re: Hypnosis
I'm a qualified hypnotherapist and i also regress people to a former life, if you believe that we have lived before.
75% of people can be hypnotized and the other 25% will not, as there sub-conscious is to strong. When you're hypnotized you can't be made to do anything you wouldn't normally do, as you sub-conscious won't let you. So if i put someone under and told them to jump off a building, they wouldn't do it. You are still vaguely aware of whats going on around you, but it's in the distance, it is a strange experience.
I have now regressed 15 people and it is amazing what they see and feel, and what happened before plays a part in what they do or are like now.
I have been regressed and it was like being on a movie set, i could see, hear smell and touch what was around me, but it was in the 1800's and it was Spain. I was recorded and i was talking Spanish, i thought i was speaking English still as i could understand what i/others were saying. On the tape it was Spanish, i have never been to Spain or learn't Spanish. I talked of places that have changed names or don't exist anymore, and when my regresser looked into what i had said, it was all true and the places existed. All but one of my clients have said things that took me ages to find and see if they were right, and they were.

Re: Hypnosis
We have a friend that knew someone that was hypnotized to lose weight. They said it definitely worked. I do believe that it can be done.

Re: Hypnosis
True story!
Worried about their less than exciting sex life, a long time married wife sent her husband to a therapist who wound up treating him with self-hypnosis. And, to her joy, everything became amazing. However, she could not help but notice that each night, early into their lovemaking, the husband would dash out to the bathroom for several minutes. This tormented her until finally, one night, she followed him. There, in front of the mirror, she found him applying this therapeutic technique: "She's not my wife... She's not my wife...She's not my wife..."
