Forced to learn?
When you were so very young, we're you "forced" to learn somthing, like piano, dance or music lessons? Did you have to learn the ole "value of a dollar" lesson by earning an allowance instead of one being just handed to you?

Re: Forced to learn?
I was lucky, i was allowed to learn what i wanted, so it was to ride a horse/pony at the age of three, i've ridden ever since. When i was 18 i qualified as a riding instructor.
The one thing i regret is that i didn't taken piano lesson, i'd love to play the piano. Don't get the time nowadays. I wanted my oldest son to take piano lessons, but he chose the drums, i brought him a set for his birthday and he has lessons at school every week. He is really good, thank god!!!!

Re: Forced to learn?
Piano lessons. It was hard enough to practice anyways, because I was gone at school during the week and come home on the weekends and as soon as I got back into my hometown, I had to go straight to lessons and did pretty horrible each time. Did that for about maybe 4 to 5 years straight and finally told my mom I didn't want to do it anymore. Just wasn't working out like that.
But I'd maybe try it again...
