righting past wrongs?
I'm feeling simplistic today, boys and girls...so, no longness of wind here...
If you had the chance to repair, to try again, the greatest relationship you can remember in your life, but were relatively comfortable now, and it would be a difficult, risky proposition, would you take the chance? keep in mind...I am talking about "the one" you know...we all had one. ??? would you take a chance? I expect large variances in the age groups answers, as well...we'll see if I'm right.

Re: righting past wrongs?
Yes I would. My unforgettable relationship was my first wife. We did as so many couples do over time we grow apart. If I had the chance to rekindle this love I wouldn't hesitate a second.

Re: righting past wrongs?
I would not....it was a beautiful and perfect thing for the time that it was, and it was horrible and hard when it was over.
Although I knew it as something that was "meant to be"....it was only meant to be for that time, not forever.

Re: righting past wrongs?
The person I thought was my "one" back then would certainly not be "the one" now, who I am today is a woman who would barely recognize who I was then...I like me alot better than that girl I was so long ago so "No" would be my answer. Not because I wouldn't take the chance but because the person I was when I made that choice in a relationship doesn't exist, and the person he was back then shouldn't exist.
Plus, faded memories of the past wouldn't be something I'd want to try to rekindle, there is always a reason why people split up and for most cases it is probably best left alone...

Re: righting past wrongs?
I'm thinkin' that my past relationships are best left there. They most certainly were wonderful in thier time, but I am sure that these women have changed much. Just as I have.
Even though I often wonder how their lives are now.

Re: righting past wrongs?
I used to think I would like a chance again. However, I have grown up and realized that I love the man I am with very, very much and he is probably the only man on this earth that could have helped me bury my baggage and stuck by me through thick and thin. I am blessed to be where I am now with him by my side.
