Bad luck?
Did you ever just have one of those Days, weeks, months or even years of "bad luck?"
I have strange luck, although horrible things happen to me, somehow I always manage to come out smelling like roses.....Although while the bad is happening, I could never imagine coming out of any of it smelling like anything but shit at the time!
Since I have separated from my husband I have had one bad thing happen after another, although I have had some truly good things happen as well, but somehow the bad just outweighs the good at the moment.....
For example, When I first moved into my new house in March of this year, after loosing my home to a foreclosure thanks to my ex not paying the mortgage, and loosing my car for the same reason, I wasn't here for more than 2 weeks when I was in the bathroom, and my youngest decided to take a walk to town......
When I got out of the bathroom and noticed he was gone I ran down to my car with the other two birdbrains to go look for him (mind you, my back yard is a cemetery and school, and he loved to go in there to walk to the elementary school playground)....
So I get to my car and the freakin battery was dead!.....So I got out of the car and just started to run into the cemetery being that there is a raging river, pond and railroad tracks.....By the time I got back home there were two sheriff's and state trooper at my front door with my youngest.....
After they asked me what had happened the police officer made it clear that my son was upset that his oldest brother was calling him names (which I never heard him say, and found out it came from his fathers house).....But when the officer said the three names, Sexy, gay and fat, I thought I would die......
So it was over, not to mention my son only walked to the bottom of my street where the police station happen to be, and it was the night for court!....
Now because of that incident, Child protective services came to my home to make sure things were OK......
So, here it goes
Last week on Monday I find out that I have been indited as a child abuser and I am in the NYS register of child abusers all because I didn't call 911! (don't worry, I have taken the steps to fight this)....However I have a degree in teaching and I was going back to work this September, now, until the process is over I can no longer work with children......
Thursday my grandfather dies 
Friday I get a call from the state police investigating me for being a terrorist because the house I lost had blueprints of a building stapled to the wall in the garage that my ex boyfriend put up as wall paper...... 
Now how is that for "odd Luck"

Wish you good luck in your efforts to straighten this stuff out. I suspect, tho, that when everyone involved has to explain their own actions, including the police officers, it is going to sound pretty ridiculous.

When I love someone, I'll give it to them straight out hon...from what you said, most of your problems don't come from you, some of those big problems come from the men in your life ....
You're a very capable women who can step us and take charge of your life.
You and your children have tons of potential, focus on what counts...YOU and your children...you're a good mom and a good woman,..any man in your life needs to earn his way into your life!
You know we are here for ya, and we love you!

Darn girl, that is some crap.
Amazing how the children who are truly abused never get the help. In your case they (child protection/law enforcement) go overboard.

Thanks guys!  .....
It is ironic that for the last 13 years I was abused physically and mentally, not to mention what he put the kids through, and I end up to be labeled as the abuser.... 
Although I have a fight in front of me, I'm confident that I will have no problem wining this one......I have done everything possible as a mother, including leaving the situation with nothing but my three kids, going to therapy once a week for everyone, and being there everyday for my youngest who deals with anger in the same way my ex does, which happen to get him kicked out of summer camp!
Although he has a heart of gold and is very intelligent, maybe too smart, ohh, and so loved that every counselor cried when they said he couldn't come anymore, he definitely has a long road ahead of him! I am more than ready for this haul!..... 
I didn't mean to make this post about myself, just wondered if anyone else had that kind of luck at times.......As you see, as bad as it gets, I always seem to find a way out of the situation on top!....I thank Goodness for that! 
I can say this....
Everything that has happened to me, has made me who I am, and I wouldn't change that for anything!

kitten...I have never forgotten your email to me many many months ago to encourage me not to give up and that you were always available if I ever needed to talk..now it's your turn. I have lived thru some of the things you have talked about and usually feel that if I didn't have bad luck..I'd have no luck at all. Don't ever think you are going thru anything alone..there are more caring friends out here for you than you could ever imagine.

I think that living in N.Y. has a profound impact on the # of suck-balls-type-crap one endures...I recommend West Virginia...STILL...

And it goes for anyone out there having a bad patch...there's always gonna be plenty of people here that care....hell, I know I don't care if you were pissed off and hated my freakin' guts last week, or sometime in the past ranted off at me...that was then, it's the past and if ya'all ever need anything, if there's anything I can do for ya, just hit me up...no problem!
