Commute
How far do you commute for work? I'm really spoiled, I only have about a 3 minute drive to my work. My husband travels an hour both ways. He has done that for about 27 years.

Re: Commute
I travel 34 miles each way, depending on traffic it can take me an hour each way. Unless it's a holiday weekend, then it's taken me up to 4 hours.
Which isn't that bad considering when I lived in VA I lived 8 miles away and it sometimes took up to 6 hours to get home!!!!

Re: Commute
I work at home, so...I commute up the stairs to my desk...
The biggest commute I ever have is weekly Walmart shopping, that's about 8 miles round trip..

Re: Commute
I commute 42+ miles every day. It takes about an hour, unless one of the cities that I drive through is having one of their celebrations, or if a semi get stuck under the only bridge there is in town, then all bets are off and its time for plan B.

Re: Commute
It takes me 2 hours to get to work and its 130 miles from my home. That is on a good day add in fender benders and it could take 3 or 4 hours.

Re: Commute
Being that I'm still unemployed, my commute is one of zero time or travel. I've actually been known to travel backwards, when I find that my truck is too far forward in its parking space and I have to move it for fear of a ticket from local law inforcement...

Re: Commute
Since I am retired I get up to watch others commute. It usually makes me so tire I have to nap.

Re: Commute
It only takes me just under 10 minute drive to get to work, longer if i get stuck behind the school buses. The roads are country lanes, so lots of fields with horses.
