Privacy
What do you think about the alleged spying on US citizens? Do you feel this really a new thing, or has it been happening very year since you can remember.
So you feel that it's worth maybe sacarficing some privacy to help make our country safer?

Re: Privacy
Keep in mind, that with cell phones and being online aren't the most secure things one can do to protect privacy.

Re: Privacy
DO I feel it is worth it? Yup, I do. I tend to look at it like this, if I have nothing to hide, I have nothing to worry about.
I may not like it, but I do understand it. world of difference there.

Those that give up freedom for security deserve neither.

Ok, so after you're both done with your fifths, how do you feel about this?

Re: Privacy
A similar argument can be brought against the hundred or so cameras that the mayor of NEW YORK CITY has proclaimed will be installed in certain areas of the city.
If you're not doing anything illegal, wtf is the problem? Sh*t, there are freakin' cameras all over the place such as malls, casinos, city halls, ball parks, etc. They are installed to protect those properties and to give us some sense of security. Hey, we're used to them and accept them, don't we?

I read where security cameras are the wave of the future. Imagine yourself driving in your car, and you come to a stop sign. Most folks never really come to a full stop right at the line or before the sign. It's something we all do from time to time, maybe it's cause we're in a hurry, maybe it's because it's something we've always done. Now imagine if that sign is monitored by security cameras. You receive a picture of your vechicle, in what looks like, you blowing through that stop sign. You receive a ticket in a nominal amount of 25$. Now imagine those cameras following you around the city and town you live in and adding a dollar amount for every infraction. Would you think it was a good idea if you received a weekly four to five hundred dollars in tickets? I would think not, but that's what it's coming to...
