Where you were born
How many of us were born and raised in the town we now live in? I was born in California. I was a navy brat. My dad was born and raised here and when we would come to visit my grandparents it was cool, but when we moved here I was 13 yrs old. I definitely had shell shock! Imagine being 13 and everyone your dad shows you on the street is your cousin! I just knew I would never find a husband!

What are you bitching about shedevil, here, when some guy wants you to meet his wife, cousin & sister, theres only one girl standing there. I'm related to almost everyone here. If i don't find somebody here, i'm gonna have to date my sister....lol

I was Born in McCook Neb, Grew up in Norton Kansas, but most of my family lived in Beaver City, Neb. I spent years in the Air Force, in different countries, but now I'm back around my family in Beaver City.

I was born and grew up in a Huntington, Wva. Marshall is my hometown College.
Moved to Fl, when I was 18, so this year, have lived in Fl, longer than the state I was born in.
I'm a hillbilly and a redneck girl and proud of it, lol.

I was born in Fairbanks, Alaska. (Ladd AF Base). Had a brother and sister born at McConnell, a brother born at Davis-Mothan (sp) and a sister at Lowery (sp). Yeah I know a few bases.

I was born in a maturnity hospital 3 miles from where my parents lived. I still live in the same village i was brought up in. It is a great place with everything you could want/need in a village. It is surrounded by country side and the sea. All my family live in the same village and most of the friends i grew up with still live here. It is nice because my boys have grown up with family around them, and all my friends children.

I'm a genuine Texan, born in Sherman and I've lived here or within 100 miles except for my time in the Air Force and 4 years in Manila going to school. I've traveled a lot and still wind up back in the Dallas-Ft Worth area each time.

I was born somewhere a tad north of here... grew up on an island by seattle.. moved back to a tad north of here in high school and have been in this general area since... but not for much longer if at all possible.
the whole "good to grow up in a small town" days are long gone in my opion. and that's the only thing this area had going for it as far as a positive reason for being here.

I was born in South Texas and moved twice before I was a year old. My Mom lived in the same house I'd grown up in until she passed away last year...this is home to me...there is enough small town feel with the convenience of the big city nearby...
Most of my friends from school still within an hours reach of me...I love having the peace of farmland/suburbia right near me but if you want to jump in your car and go to town...it isn't far at all.
Although after visiting California I could see myself living within a close distance of that beautiful area...I understand why people live there...I just couldn't afford it!!!

the Mrs. was born in Wayne, Michigan, moved to Fairbanks, Alaska at 9 month (Dad was in the Air Force) back to Michigan for a short stay in Detroit with the grandparents, moved to Indiana when I was 4 and lived in that state til the Mr. found me & brought me to Idaho
