Things that make you think
I was thinking last night when hubby came home with ice cream. Has anyone ever wondered why on the flaps of the carton one of the flaps have printed on it "fold this flap in first". hehehe I know this is weird, but just got me to thinking. Has anyone else seen anything like that and just kind of wondered?

I was just reading a forum on another site...and someone posted that you could go visit this one website and get free print out autographs from the entire cast of "Hairspray"...
Who the hell wants "print out" autographs? I do wonder about that!

The ice cream carton thing, I think is to prevent you from making a mess by ending up with the flap that is gonna have ice cream on it (the one the fold down first)on top of the clean flap, then you end up with two messy flaps...but where talking about ice cream...it never mattered to me how messy it gets!

I would wonder why some things have this secret coded expiration date, mostly products in hardware stores and such...not food stuff.(I've seen this on things like tubes of caulk, stuff like that)
IF you want the expiration date, you have to call an 800 number, read the little code to them and they decode it and give you a date.
I'm guessing this is so you can't read the expiration date on the shelf when your buying, so they won't get stuck with all the old stock.

Something else that makes me think...why?
In Missouri along the major highways, they've put up an excessive amount of mile marker signs...not really "mile" markers, they have them marking every 1/8 of a mile.

Yeah, I have saw them too in other areas South on open roads, I was thinking it might be some sort of speed trap?

I wonder why, here in the UK, it is legal to have sex at 16, but illegal to watch a porno/adult movie until your 18.

Those extra mile marker signs are supposed to be helpful to police, emergency workers, and stranded motorist...but geez, they are excessive and expensive, and there's allot of complaints about them and that the money could have been better spent.
Every 1/4 mile not too bad, but every 1/8 is kinda extreme!

It a Labor Law,,  If you are just fucking it is recreational,,, they probably figure if your into porno's you would start making a few of your own,,and now your tapping into the movie industry.

I think  Chazzy got the ice cream carton solved. This was an exciting questing Realshedevil ask in the lobby the other day. With 11 people in there we didn't solve this mystery of life. But we now can start sleeping at night again.LOL This is the great mind expanding conversation you are missing out on if you aren't coming into the chat rooms.

Why is it, when you enter a store, there is a sign that says "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service" .... but nothing is mentioned about pants or dresses. You think I'd be waited on if i went in with no pants??

If human's supposedly evolved from monkeys and apes, then why are they still here?
Why do people say that their alarm clock went off, when it really came on?
Why is if I yell, "Duck!" I'm helping you out, but if I yell, "Chicken!" I'm insulting you? 
Why do they call a person who died young, "The Late" if they died early? 
Why oh why, do adults tell children to be a kid for as long as they can, but yet when they do something childish or immature, they yell at them, "just grow up!" ?... 
Is a one-eyed person, "Blinking" or "Winking"?  
Can you cry underwater?  
Why do they call it, "a penny for your thoughts" when it requires you to, "put your two cents in"?...

Why is it that in MOST work places who have boss's that smoke, let the workers who smoke get a cigarett break outside every hour but the rest of the workers do not get equivilant time out?

Oh makes sense Chazzy! I'm like you, it doesn't matter how messy it gets. Doesn't matter long about the flap either, cause it doesn't last long in our house anyway.
