E-bay
What is the longest time you had to wait to receive something you purchased on e-bay?
I won a bid for some soy protein powder mix, on the 19 of June and paid for it within minutes using PayPal, it is the 30th of June and I have not received it yet.
I have done the same thing with the same product before but with different sellers and got the stuff within a week. I wrote the seller an e-mail but he has not answered.
Any one else have any experience with e-bay? Or any suggestions.

Re: E-bay
I've been buying and selling on ebay for about 5 years now, most important is the person's rating, if they have no or little feedback, I would definitly think twice about doing business with them.
I've been very happy with all my ebay transactions, and have over 300 feedback posts with 100% satisfaction.
You have PayPal AND eBay for recourse, ebay has a type of mediation thing, you contact them with your complaint, and if it's a good regular seller you're dealing with, most likely it will be handled quickly, cuz like me, they
want to protect their overall rating and keep all their feedback positive.
If the person you bought from has no rating or a very low one, you might need to file a fraud form, I know ebay has one, and I'm sure PayPal does too.
Double check the seller's page, and see what they have as a shipping policy too, how they ship, etc..
The very few times an ebay transaction has taken, in my opinion way too long, it was usually for a good reason, someone was sick, death in the family, something like that.
So summing it up, double check for the shipping policy, check the seller's rating and feedback, then proceed with contacting eBay and PayPal for action.
Need any more help finding the right eBay links, or with anything else, just holler!

Re: E-bay
You'll either get your money back from PayPal or eBay...eBay has a fraud insurance kinda thing, up to a certain amount...which your payment is well within...
My husband had to go through the filing for fraud once, it's tedious, but it gets the job done!

Re: E-bay
You'd better read the fine print! E-bay charges you the buyer and/or seller for a refund transaction ($25). I had a dispute with a seller over a botched shipping job involving a video camera. First I got every excuse in the book why it couldn't be shipped out, then the promise of money back, followed by special gifts included. It did arrive, no gifts, no case, no box. A hand-held camcorder, shipped out with a shipping label glued to the side of it. That wasn't the worst part. It had one of those open up view-finder windows on the side of it. It was super-glued shut. I had to use some glu-be-gone to it only to find out the crystal display had been smashed b-4 it was glued shut. I complained to e-bay taking pictures of it, only to be told that further action would require me to pay 25$ for the transaction fee. Talk about adding insult to injury...
On a lighter note...I got my revenge purely by accident. The people who I bought the camera from used it, but didn't delete the pictures from the built-in memory. I uploaded them on my Photoshop program and air-brushed them, making them dirty in nature. I sent them back asking them if they wanted me to post them somewhere where they could retrieve them. I never got a response, but I'm sure they weren't too happy with the quality of the pictures...
