Are fire-works legal in your state
We have to drive to Wisconsin or Indiana to buy other than smoke bombs, sparklers, sidewalk snakes, punks, etc.
My favorite is those cannon balls, with the long wick, you drop em in a 18" x 2" tube, light the wick and run, they go a hundred feet up then emitt a large bang with huge showers of different color sparkles. Whats your favorite fireworks.

The only things that aren't legal in our town is bottle rockets. We can't shoot them in town. That's why we go out to the country so the kids can shoot off what they want.

We do too Chazzy! We live in a really small town and there are so many stands you don't know which one to go to!

My favorite fireworks are the artillery shells. Loud and pretty.

Re: Are fire-works legal in your state
Someone has had a party and had fireworks close by, and both my dogs were running around like headless chickens, bless um. I had to turn the telly up, so they couldn't hear them
You can buy fireworks in most shops over here, only sold to over 18's with ID

Re: Are fire-works legal in your state
In Massachusetts, they're working on a law to make it illegal to breathe during the holidays, but the New Hampshire border is just a stones throw away from me. As a matter of fact, someone just now threw what sounds like a quarter stick into the center of town. Unless a person blows of a limb or destroys a car, the cops don't do much around here to catch them.
The only time that happens is around this time of year. Police set up fireworks stings. They case towns along the border like Seabrook NH. They wait in hiding for people with mass plates to pull up, then they follow them across the border and pull them over. They confiscate the stash and get a fine. I remember seeing something about a new law for transporting over the border. It will soon become a fine by the ounce ($100 to $200 per ounce)

Re: Are fire-works legal in your state
Yes they are legal in my state of CONNECTICUT. Granted, the ones that are for sale are basically the less explosive ones, fireworks are still legal here! If more explosive ones are desired, a trip to NEW HAMPSHIRE is required.
