There was a really old song out in the 60's called Blue Moon ,,,,does anyone remember it? It went something like: Bob diddy bob,,,Dang diddy dang,,,ding dong dang BLUEEEEEW'OOOOO MOOOOOON,,,  cant remember the rest,,I need help here Bad!!!!

Not to get too  with this, but I was reading about what makes the moon blue in the first place. "Forrest Fires" and "Active Volcano's" send smoke and ash into the upper-atmosphere causing a filter-like effect on the moons glow, making it appear to be blue against the back-drop sky. Neat Huh?...

A "blue moon" is a term that refers to the second full moon in a calendar month per the "Old Farmer's Almanac". It is pretty rare.
