A glimpse back?
Is there anyone, maybe even several people from your past that you've lost touch with but you still find yourself wondering about once in awhile, someone that just crosses your mind every so often?
An old best friend from grade school, or school teacher, a family friend, some one you dated?
You just wonder where they are now, what they are doing, etc...
Do you ever on a whim, try to search them out on the internet

Yup my best friend all through school. He went to the Navy, I to the Air Force,Never heard from him again. Have no idea where he moved to. My dads best friend in the Army called him after 40 years. Now Dad is planning a trip to Indiana to see his friend again, which i think is way cool

In my youth, I worked as a holiday rep in sunny Spain. My 'partner' was a hunky charming irish lad called Fergus, he was very much involved with his Girlfriend (  ), but boy, did we have some great laughs. I have made every effort to trace him again, all to no avail.

When i was in college i went on a trip to Wales meeting up with other people on the same law course. My tutor also tutored another class and there was a girl she dreaded me meeting on this trip. She said we were both so alike, and if we didn't get on, then all hell would break loose. But we hit it off the first time we set eyes on each other. We became great friends over the two weeks, she confided alot in me about her home life and that things were quite bad. We kept in touch for a while, then she stopped. My tutor asked me one day if i'd heard from her and she was quite serious about me being honest. Her name was Lindsey and she went missing from home and to this day, i don't know if she's ok, i think about her all the time and hope she has a great life now. If i was able to trace her i would, as she was a good friend even though it was for a short time.

There are a few friends of mine that I think of from time to time, wondering where they are in their lives, where they live now. I had a pen pal when I was 14 that I had met through one of the teen magazines, and up till 10 yrs ago, we still had contact. We shared our teenage years, our little secrets, our marriages, our kids, just life's trials and tribulations. Another friend of mine Barbara, I am still trying to find her, but to no avail. I have used some Internet sites to locate her, and other sources, I would desperately love to find her, we were inseparable, best friends. Shortly after my divorce over 13 years ago, I moved to another town, and lost contact with her, boy I miss her, what a wonderful person she is!!

I did find my best friend after greater than 20 years. It is amazing to have someone who shares those memories with on a daily basis. Someone who can see how much you have grown. Most often it is only your siblings who have that time with you and siblings have their own issues with the past.
