"Mineral Powder" foundation make-up
Has anyone tried or is using the mineral powedered make-up?
It seems allot of make up companies are getting into it.
These products go by the brand names of Sheercover, Bareminerals, Essential Minerals...
It seems like a nice clean and effective way of wearing make-up and would love to try them out..but they can be pricey...just wondering if anyone else had already tried them.

Re: "Mineral Powder" foundation make-up
I haven't tried them. With me tanning I don't wear a lot of make up. Usually I only wear bronzing facial powder. If I hear of anyone that tries the Mineral Powder I will let you know what their opinion is. And you are so right, some of the things we ladies use can be very pricey.

Re: "Mineral Powder" foundation make-up
Thanks REAl, I appreciate it! I don't have much call to wear make up everyday, I work from home...but I've heard some pretty good things about these powdered mineral ones and not sure which one to try....

Re: "Mineral Powder" foundation make-up
Chazzy I have tried the Bare Essential makeup. I saw it on the infomercial and then bought some off E-bay. Very expensive but I did really like it - very natural looking and it didn't feel like I was wearing a mask. I can't afford it right now so I have not bought more.
I can not stand puting on liquid foundation anymore and now just use powder but it is not near as nice as the above.

Re: "Mineral Powder" foundation make-up
Great! I was so hoping to hear from someone who has actually used this stuff, it's quite an investment, more than I usually spend on make-up.
Just recently, L'Oreal started a line of this type of mineral powder. The good thing about the L'Oreal is that instead of investing in the entire kit, I can budget this in by buying one of the four products every week or so instead of breaking the bank with a one time purchase.

I heard that they had started a line and I am not sure how expensive it is - but I should go look at that also. I just really like the natural look/feel.

Re: "Mineral Powder" foundation make-up
Around here, it's $13.00 a piece at Walmart, a little higher at Walgreens.
I've googled it, some like it as well as Bare Minerals, some not as well, and some say the L'oreal shades are a little darker, and the brush that comes with it isn't as good.

I bought a set off of ebay and am liking it very well. It covers anything I want covered, without looking caked on. Feels nice on my skin, too.
