WTF was that?
A week ago this past Monday, at the un-godly hour of 2am, Mr COLIN BRULEY, an apartment superintendent in Florida, heard a woman in his building, scream that she had been shot. Upon hearing the cry for help, grabbed his shotgun and ran to check out what was happening. At the woman's apartment, he administered first aid to the woman, who had been shot in the leg. Medical officials later said that Mr BRULEY had saved her life by his quick actions.
The following day, his bosses fired him for not calling them immediately before he went to help that woman and for brandishing his shotgun on the property. Hell, he didn't know what he would encounter when he arrived at the woman's apartment. Possibly the perpetrator? He said later that his first instinct was to grab the gun out of self preservation and then go to investigate the problem.
Although the management company probably checked with their lawyers before the decision was made to fire Mr BRULEY, I'm sure the they will reconsider their decision, if only to not look like total a-holes. If anything, they ought to be hailing Mr BRULEY as a hero......

Re: WTF was that?
You do a good thing, help someone when they desperately need it, and that is the thanks he gets, what a f..kin joke. I hope the ones who sacked him are made to look stupid.

Re: WTF was that?
unfortunately, "No good deed goes unpunished". Just another symptom of a world that is really "out of kilter".
