Your worst fashion statement...
What was your worst fashion statement? Was it clothing, hair, accessories...what was it that you bought into that makes you wanna burn all the photos of your from that time of your life?

Had to be from about 7 years ago. I had stringy long hair, usually full of oil, not from my own head, big bushy beard. Damn I'm even surprised that the dog even let me in the house, not to mention Ma. Talk about real dirt bag. I look back now, OMG I can't believe that I even let myself look like that.

Oh, it had to be two times in my life. Around 1971 and from 1975 and 1981.
The 1971 period was the leisure suit era, although I did not wear or own one, my clothes were f**kin' disgusting, sort of early disco!!
The '75-'81 period brought on my curly hair period! Man, I looked like a wet chicken!! WTF was I thinking?? I looked like a f**kin' dick!!!!!!
I have since destroyed all pictorial evidence in my possession! The pictures were far too painful to look at......

OOOO yes, the time when longer hair was in. I had a leisure suit that I would wear a lot, it was a checked pattern, let's see, red black and white. Then the shiny half buttoned shirt that had the balloon sleeves and wide cuffs. I had a pair of pants that was dark purple brushed velvet, sat super low on the waist, and had a huge flare from the knees down. Don't for get the platform shoes, mine was dark blue, with white, about 3-4 inches high. This was for the guy's. Those were the days.

No kidding. But I'm glad they come back with the low rise, flarestyle for the women. It just never caught on for the guy's. Well OK the normal guys. But then who ever said I was normal????

according to my 3 daughters, every day when i dress myself ! i am just NOT into fashion, since i am rarely seen in public. an old pair of charcoal-colored jeans, a gray t-shirt and my black earth shoes. now guys, tell me what the hell is the matter with that outfit ????

The 90's....super tight jeans, super tight around the ankle/calf area, so tight they put these extra zippers on the legs so you could get the damn things off and on!

I had this purple skirt and top outfit in the 70's. It had a white pattern that was crazy all through out it. When I remember that I just have to laugh.

Oh, now I remember....those f**kin' earth shoes! Boy, did they suck! I had a pair ($30) in '71. Wore 'em about 10 days and then tossed them in the trash.....Yeh, I was a fashion icon alright!
