my 16th was the best i think, dad was gonna take me trout fishing for my b-day, when we got to the trout lake, we learned it was closed, so he turned around & Drove back to Norton, took me into a Sporting goods store & told me to pick out any gun i wanted. I chose a Marlin 336c 30-30. That was a good b-day present

One of my best ever birthday surprises was the gift that my boyfriend chose for me...we had just gotten serious and moved in together, at that time I was a seamstress, sewed all lmy own clothes, made all my own quilts, etc...
The dear actually walked into a fabric store all by himself, chose several different kinds of fabric that he thought I would like, had the store cut them all into 4 yard lengths from the bolts and gift wrap it all for me.
It was such a sweet gesture, cuz we are talkin' about a man that has never stepped foot in a fabric store before!
