Off Topic!! (game)
Alrighty! We should all be good at this game!!
I'm thinkin' it could be allot of fun, and damn interesting too...but hell, I'm not always right though...
Well, we'll just see!
Here's how to play...I'm gonna make a post on a random subject...the next poster takes just one word, thought or phrase from that and uses it to post a spin off topic...

Okay off the top of my head...didya all catch that news story about that poor guy who's wheelchair that got stuck to a semi-trucks front grill, then the trucker, not knowing, takes off down the highway at 50 miles an hour and for four miles ? My gawd! What a freaky thing to happen! The poor man in the chair must have been just totally petrified and confused, I can't imagine what it must have been like for him!

You know, my truck only does 50 miles an hour on a good day, with the wind at my back...or in a hurricane...or going downhill. The other day I was passed by an old man in his seventies on a three-wheeled bicycle...

I used to own a Harley three-wheeler. Fun to drive but a lot of trouble to work on. Only motorcycle I have ever owned that absolutely had to have reverse. Leaning to turn didn't work, you actually had to steer it...only motorcycle you really didn't want on 2 wheels either!

I use to have a dog named Harley, he didn't smile or talk much, but he loved to chase motorcycles. We lived on the farm then and one day he chased the kids down the driveway on their bicycles, the kids shot across the road but Harley never made it, a car coming in the the other lane hit him blind side. We buried him near the apple tree. And even now 30 yrs later we always remember Harley when we drive past the old farm house.

I love going to Priscilla's and trying on sexy outfits in the dressing room with my hubby watching as I do that. Don't know why, but the clerk always tells us we only have 5 minutes. hehehehe

Speaking of petrified, did you hear about that poor freakin' guy that took CIALIS one day and got an erection that did not go away after 4 hours. As a matter of fact, months went by until he had an operation to slay that "monster"for good, thus rendering him permanently limp......He really didn't need to undergo such drastic surgery. All he had to do was stare at a picture of ROSIE naked! That would have slayed that monster!!!!

When we took a vacation to Wyoming with our boys when they were younger, I wanted to go see the petrified tree. All of the boys and hubby were whining about going to see it. I made them take me anyway. Much to their surprise there was a cow moose and her calf there as well. They quit complaining really quick.

Annette also did all those old 50's or 60's bikini beach teen movies too didn't she? I love the old movies, even the black and white ones, it just seems with a lot less special effects, and allot more censorship, they had such a wonderful and creative way of getting a story told.

oh, i love this game... it's so fascinating to see where people's minds go...
do you remember that movie, SheDevil? Meryl Streep and Roseanne Whatever, a so-so movie, but based on a very entertaining book, "The Lives and Loves of a She-Devil", by Fay Weldon, who also wrote "Death Becomes Her"... Except I always think it was Olivia Goldsmith ("First Wives Club" )... and Goldsmith was one of my favorite writers, right up until she died on the operating table during a routine liposuction procedure... which is sort of the ultimate irony, if you're a Goldsmith fan....

The other day tiger & I went to work. She walked back to the work area before I did. She came out and told me there was water on the floor. We had a leak over the weekend. Someone had started the washer and left the lid up. Guess the washer didn't like being full of water with no clothes.

no clothes, that reminds me of a time i was at work, i came past the girls toilet & changing room & the door was open, so i automatically just looked in, standing there was an employee stark naked just looking at me, she never moved or screamed just stood there, lol i stood and looked for a min or so(she had one hot body)before i left, it was an hour or so before i started work, i came downstairs to work and just saw her being escorted off the premises, she had been dismissed she was on drugs, never did see her again

dont know how many times in my life ive walked past someone and caught their eye, and having this feeling I knew this person and they had the same look on their face, wanting to turn around and say something, hi or whatever and not doing it. note to self, next time act on that gut feeling!

I like to listen to my "gut feelings"...call it intuition, call it whatever, there are just times when that feeling comes to ya, and it sure feels like a warning, or premonition....deja vu gives me that kind of creepy "gut feeling"

Nope, I'll have to put that one on my list! I've really gotten into the simple enjoyment from G-rated movies lately, and the animation in some of them is just fantastic!
Sometimes I'm not so impressed with a movie's story line, as I am with the special effects and animation in them.
Things have come a long way since the first "Star Wars" movie!
But I really do not like movies with graphic violence and gore in them...I do like a really good scary thriller, the kind that scare the crap outta ya without all the blood and guts scenes.

oh, i'm very much a movie-wimp... a friend of mine took me to a movie a few years ago... she said "it's Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfieffer, you'll love it".... Three hours later, with my hands over my eyes, I decided I could never trust her again! Of course, the movie was "What Lies Beneath"....

I don't much believe in any omens, only know of a few really, like a black cat crossing your path, a hoot owl near your bedroom window means a death in the household is eminent..a wooley worm or a persimmon seed can fortell how hard a winter will be..
