Re: freakiest experience?
I had one yesterday...I was walking through the Walmart parking lot to my car before work and this very nice looking man was behind me as I put the items I had purchased in the front passenger seat of my car. (All I could think about as he approached was the story of the girl in Kansas who was kidnapped in daylight.) As he came closer I made certain to certain to close my car door. He said, "I just had to come over and tell you how attractive you are, you are impeccably dressed, you carry yourself very well, women just don't look like you anymore. You are beautiful." I was very nice to him as he introduced himself to me and he asked, "Do you have a boyfriend," and I responded, "No, I have a husband." He smiled and said, "I should have known, your husband should put a ring on your finger..." He walked away and got into his brand new Lexus...I ask you, Ted Bundy or just a really nice guy ???

Re: freakiest experience?
My hubby and I were in Wal-Mart one day. We were standing in line to check out. There was a man with his little girl in front of us. The little girl was bouncing around and asking her dad for all kinds of stuff. It was very apparent that the dad was kind of stressing as he continued to tell the little girl no to all the requests she was making. He knew she was holding up the check out lane. At one point he turned to me and my hubby and apologized to us for the hold up. We smiled and told him it was no problem, as we go through the same thing when we have our grand daughter with us. He smiled and looked relieved. As the cashier was checking out the guys things, he turned to me and smiled and said, "I just had to tell you something. You smell so very nice." I smiled back at him and told him thank you very much. My hubby told me that I turned 10 shades of red. lol Just really surprised me because I had never had that happen to me before. Guess I had lived a pretty sheltered life. lol

Re: freakiest experience?
I hesitate to say....I've seen the unexplainable unidentified flying objects in the nite sky once..that was freaky enough,...but not as freaky as this "thing"....this ghost or whatever that pissed me off every nite for a couple of months...
And I sat up very late one night and told NRG all about the freakiest snake I've ever seen while hiking in a remote area...

She I don't think you live a sheltered life but more of a controlled one. I think you are used to picking and choosing who and how you meet. I may be wrong but this is just my opinion.

Re: freakiest experience?
I also had seen some UFO's one night. My partner and I where just patroling around and noticed them in the sky. So we went to a good spot in the city to observe them, and turned off all the lights, and sat there and watched in awe. It wasn't long after that the radio started to buss about the lights in the sky. These lights would move around in a formation like pattern, all the while the lights would change to different colors. After about 20 minutes, the light just move off in all different directions. At no time could we ever hear a sound that would ressemble an engine of any kind.

Re: freakiest experience?
Hey, freaky things like UFO's are just cool! Sure maybe there's some simple, logical, common explaination for freaky things...but I just really enjoy the freaky part of life!

Re: freakiest experience?
A girlfriend of mine gave me a stick of wood she and a friend of hers got at the, Danver's State Mental Institution. They were tearing it down and she got the security guard to let her go up there and take a few pieces as souvenir's. I was doing a shoot at the local TV station, a place I volunteer my time, when a nice looking girl there became ghostly greenish-white. She looked as though she was about to become sick. She ran to my truck and pulled out of the bed the stick of wood my girlfriend had left me. I then saw her shake like she was holding a giant vibrator in her hands. She dropped the piece of wood and ran off. I was told later that she received vibes from the wood in my pick-up truck as I pulled up...

Re: freakiest experience?
That's not the end of it... My girlfriend had her own freak explanation try time. She and her friend were not allowed to go in to the building. Apon returning to her car, she realized that she lost her cellphone. She told the guard and they both searched the grounds, but found nothing. He took her name and number in case someone found it later. Oh when she was looking for it, she called the number on her friends phone to make it ring, making it easier to find, but no luck. The next day she got a phone call from the guard, her cell had been found. It was on the third floor psycho ward in a room by itself. A contractor looking to recycle some of the wood paneling found it there and it was still ringing. He said when he answered it the person on the other end hung up. He knows because he heard the click. Her friend said that she never made a call to the number and her bill proved it, but there's no proof of a call being placed at that number any time during that day in question, the phone was just ringing by itself...

Re: freakiest experience?
A girlfriend of mine and I were shopping at an antique furniture store one afternoon and when we walked into this one section of the store (a little room off to the side) we both said at the same time that our stomach wasn't feeling well. As we browsed around she saw this beautiful table that was towards the back of the room. As we made our way to it we both started to get goosebumps on our arms and as we reached it she said, "I don't know about you but I feel these strange vibes, kind of like that "fight or flight" feeling you get when you are scared. We decided to get the hell out of there because it was like something was telling us to leave...that was FREAKY!!!

Re: freakiest experience?
My hubby & I were watching the movie Silence of the Lambs when it first came out. After we had finished watching it we went to bed. We had the old shades in our bedroom (the kind that would flip up with no notice). We had been asleep for about 2 hours when all of a sudden we heard the shade start flipping up. We both jumped out of bed and screamed Hannibal is in the room! When we turned on the light and saw the shade was up we both just looked at each other as the goose bumps raised up on our arms. Apparently we had both been dreaming about the movie and must have been having the same dream. My hubby went out in the hall and turned on the bathroom light and left it on. I told him when he came back in that he had left the light on. He said he was well aware of the fact that he had and that it was staying on for the rest of the night. During the night our oldest son came up to the bathroom. When he was going back to his room he turned the light off. My hubby jumped up out of a sound sleep and told him to turn the light back on. When our son asked him why he just said because we need a light on tonight. Our son giggled and said that's what you get for watching that movie before you go to bed. That shade never did that again. Was really pretty freaky.

Re: freakiest experience?
i was nineteen and working, so when my parents and younger brother took a short vacation i couldnt go. saturday nite, i came home from work at about 930 pm with some chips and soft drinks, let the dog in and settled in to watch some tv before bed. at about 1 am ,i heard footsteps directly over my head. it wasnt possible,i thought, but the dog began growling low in his throat. scared, i went to the gun closet, got my dads 12 gauge shotgun, loaded it and tried to get my trusty watchdog to come upstairs with me. he absolutely would NOT go up the stairs. i forced myself to go on alone. there was a small step-down closet just inside my bedroom door. i unhooked the latch, grabbed my flashlight and peered in side. there was a pair of old shoes sitting just inside the door. in the deep dust on the floor were a set of tracks going to a small window and back. the shoes didnt have a trace of dust on them, although dust coated EVERYTHING else in this never-used closet. about the time i was positive i was losing my mind, i nearly jumped out of my skin when our lab stuck his cold wet nose into my hand! i almost wet my pants, and then noticed that the temperature had risen about 25 degrees in a few seconds. cant explain this and never spoke of it till today. weird, huh ??

Re: freakiest experience?
me and my brother were riding my motorbike had just visited his g/f at school. we were showin out when we left and had the bike tached, we came over a hill and a woman did a rollin stop at an intersection. she saw us and locked it up blocking both lanes. I did my best to get her stopped and miss her but, the back end caught her and we were launched through the air, highway patrol said speed approx 45 at impact. it was slow motion at that point as the asphalt drew closer I felt hands hold my head and cushion the impact NO HELMETS! landed head first but never felt anything not even a scratch!shoulder hit next, broke , and then road rash every sguare inch from there, when I stopped slidin I looked for the bike I knew was followin and there was a young dark haired girl standing there by the bike smilin! I turned to look 4 my bro and looked back and she was gone! no one else seen her ! freaky! to this day I believe it was divine intervention! why? who knows, but I still look 4 that dark haired girl . her face and smile as clear in my head as if it was today not 20 yrs ago!
