Time to move on........
In the on going saga that is my friend Michelle's life after her divorce, she has asked me to help her find a "companion". How she expects me to know exactly what kind of guy winds her watch, I don't know. Maybe our long standing relationship lends to her belief that I will pick just the right man for her. Actually, I would be far more difficult, particular and demanding than she might be. After all, I am her main guy and always looking out for her well being. Any guy that I would either set her up with or recommended to her, would be "told" in no uncertain terms that any treatment other than the most gentlemanly and loving of MICHELLE would end up bad for him. Can you say swim with the fishes? 
Any of you ladies found yourself wanting some " companionship " after a relationship and elicited help from a close friend? How did that turn out for you? Any luck?

I have had friends set me up in the past with the perfect guy, but what they thought was perfect i didn't, and that's what makes it hard. You then get the third degree, "What did you think??", "Are you seeing him again???", "Why??". 
I now run a mile if they say, "i know just who you would like"!!!!

the problem, as i see it, is the fact that the friend will pick out someone THEY are attracted to, without much though about what YOUR interests really are! does that make sense to anyone but me ???

Tell her to get a dog, and let the dog pick the guy.....hell...dogs can read people allot better than people....if the dog likes him, then he's a probably a pretty good candidate.

I was set up once in a blind date. But that was the last time for blind dates. Don't get me wrong, this woman was a nice and pretty in all, but I found that our personalities would just not get along. So needless to say, I was patient and waited until the right one showed up.

Boy, this sure hits the nail squarely on the head. Been there, Done that. Petted the dog. Lived through it. Got the date.
