A change in appearance.
Have you ever had someone close to you, family, friend, significant other, someone you were dating, change their appearance and you just didn't like it at all? Maybe a radical haircut or hair dye job, an extreme change in their wardrobe or the way they dressed, even a loss or gain of weight, and you just didn't see them as attractive anymore?
Or maybe someone you barely ever even noticed did a make over that knocked you out and suddenly you were very much attracted to them?

Re: A change in appearance.
I did have a boyfriend one summer, he shaved off his mustache and .....bam..it was like all the chemistry was gone!
I was a teen, a very fickle young teen then.....

Re: A change in appearance.
My son decided to shave his head last summer and didn't tell me. When he came over to visit in the evening, I almost didn't open the door for him.....no idea who he was through the door viewer.

Re: A change in appearance.
My Sons do that too! Damn,, does that piss me off, but I really dont know why they do it? I would have never done that when I was young, but now it looks as thought I might have to get use to having a head with less hair.

Re: A change in appearance.
About 5 years ago, my favorite niece got herself a nose stud and a tongue stud. The nose stud (very small) wasn't as pronounced as the one in her tongue. Man, my eyes focused on that thing for the longest time. I couldn't help it. She knew I didn't approve and quickly abandoned that adornment but retained the nose stud.
I still love her immensely, studs and all!

Re: A change in appearance.
My husband shaved his head one year to commemorate the team he was coachings accomplishments. He didn't tell me first and when he walked through the door I say, "My Gawd you look like a dick with ears." (He's a former football player and has a huge neck so there was no definition from his shoulders up to the top of his head.) Honesty gets me in trouble every time...but hell, if he had told me at least I would have expected it...

Well, you know alot of women say that size matters, and you must have had a big one at that point. I can picture it now, a 5+ to 6+ ft dick, with ears to hit all the right spots, I bet you were in heaven....LMAO

Re: A change in appearance.
At my husband's urging, I went totally blond once for a little while, he loved it...my parents absolutely hated it!

Re: A change in appearance.
Well, with me, I'm a red head by choice...it matches my personality...I had alot of people that were shocked by the change but now when people meet me they are suprised to learn that I'm not a "true" red head...
I tend to tire of hairstyles, etc. so you never know what I'm going to do next...some people call it daring...other's think I'm just plain crazy.

Re: A change in appearance.
Well, I finally went totally blond, right at the beginning of the year. It started as just highlights, but i got to liking it so well, I started doing all my hair.
Had never been a complete blonde before...I like it.
I have what's called "dishwater blonde" hair naturally, not quite brown and def not blonde, with undertones of red.
I really liked being a redhead...I like the blonde better now, though, because it covers the gray!!!!!

Re: A change in appearance.
early in my sons senior year in college ( he will be 32 bthis year), one of his professors asked him to do a study of manic depressives at a local hospital. when he explained that his stepfather WAS a manic depressive, and that he would do ANYTHING except that particular study, his teacher insisted that he do the assignment. Jason refused, quit college, shaved his head and grew a moustache and goatee. he then moved a thousand miles away! when i heard all this from my daughter, my first question was "WTF"! is he on drugs? my daughter then explained about the college prof, so i DID feel a bit better. now , he is working 2 jobs and finishing college too. i am very proud of him, but pissed because his damn hair all grew back !!!!!lol

Re: A change in appearance.
I'm always changing my hair colour, i'm naturally black with red highlights. At the moment i have deep red which blends into the black at the bottom and a golden brown underneath. I like to change from time to time, it matches my personality.

Re: A change in appearance.
I have lost a lot of weight in the last year. And I have changed how I do my hair. Saw a friend that I hadn't seen in a while the other day. She didn't know who I was at first. When I told her she said no way! I had to pull my driver's license out to prove to her who I was.

Re: A change in appearance.
It wasn't that long ago that I was sporting long hair, full bushy beard. I looked at my old drivers license picture, and said " holy shit, I look like real puke". Good thing now I have short hair and only a short goatee.
