All kinds of friends!
Do you count on different people to provide different kinds of friendship for you?
Like maybe...when you're down, you have a friend that can say all those right and nice things that you want and need to hear to lift your spirits? Maybe another friend who can give you that honest feedback and not just blow smoke up your ass, or a type of friend that won't ask, just knows you need to get your mind off things, like a friend just for fun times and fun things?
Maybe you're lucky and just one friend has all or some of these qualities...
Do you have different kinds of friends?

Or how about some of your friends? Are there some that you only hear from when they need a shoulder to cry on, or need to drown their troubles with a booze buddy?

When I get depressed, I talk to my female friend of more than 34 years. She has had and still has much strife in her life thanks to her kids.
So, talking to her works the same as watching soap operas.
[ie] My life doesn't seem as miserable. hehe

The one friend I know I can count on to be there through thick and thin, the rough times and the good times, when I am sad and feeling fat and ugly, she is there for me.
You all know her as shedevil.
She is my bestest friend and I love her dearly.
I hope this tells her how much I love and appreciate her friendship .

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww thank you tiger.   I love you so much too. Tiger is my best friend. She and I can talk, cry, laugh, and giggle about anything. It's even better now, since she is living with us for a time. You know, when you talk with someone and you click right off the bat, you know you will be friends forever. I plan on being bestest friends with tiger forever!

I have one friend from the third grade who has kept in touch through all these years. We haven't met in person for over 10 years but through letters, then email and now IM and Skype he has always been there. It's always nice to hear a friendly voice or see a familiar email address with a joke or something inspirational for me, it just makes my day.
To all the wonderful friends I have made here at WebNaughty, a big thank you. When I was going through hard times with my wife in the hospital and bleak prospects many offered their prayers and kind words and a few really came forward to hold me up. That is so special to me and the prime reason I'm here. I want anyone new here to know how real and caring you guys and gals really are. I have only met a few of you personally but feel that I'm part of an extended family and grateful that I found you!

This friend thing hits a soft spot for me,,,finding out that you have been used for a few years, thinking a special person in your life was your friend is not very pleasing to the soul.

About the only friends that we have are here. We don't have anyone that we realy talk to out side of this place. We don't do the bar scene or even rarely go out, other than a movie every once in awhile, or go to dinner, a little too often. Ma has her friends at work, and I have mine, but they never mix. Don't even talk with my neighbors, in fact one I will never talk too, unless I have to tell him to get the hell out my yard, the bastard.

I have different friends, I have friends that are pilots & some even fly stunts, & one was with me in the Air Force, then there are friends that I go hunting with, & friends that I hunt indian artifacts with, & then there are special friends who have been there for me when I've been through hard sad times, those are the friends here, they stayed up late to chat, cheer me up & give me opinions, you all know who you are, so I'll just leave it at that.

I love all my friends! Online and real world friends.
My best friends are honest, and can give me the feedback I need to be a better person, and make it easy for me to do the same for them.
The worst friends I've ever had, were sadly a few men, who when figured out I was not gonna fuck them, decided I had no value to them at all...so ..no big deal, no loss to me, they were kinda obvious and needy anyway. Happilly, there have only been a rare few like that...makes me appreciate "Real men" even more!!

Com'mon you make it sound like Fucking is a criminal offense,,,,the problem us men have is that you do not want to make love , we figure ya just dont like us,,,it is nothing personal or that we think you are not worth any thing, But we thing that you think WE are not worth anything,,,thats just because Men are from Mars.

I'm very blessed on line and in real life with a great group of friends. I have lots of girlfriends and can't imagine life without them. The on-line friend thing I've found to be absolutely wonderful, wouldn't know how I would have made it through without some of the people that were there for me during the whole thing with Mom...you guys were the best and I mean guys and girls...friendships and family are wonderful commodities!!!

I've got friends I can cry to, rant to, friends that I just love to get a running joke going with, friends that love a good long day at the flea marker as much as I do...friends that'll tell me the hair color I chose to play with looks like shit...and the dear friends that just don't have the heart to say it!(But you can see it on their face)

Absolutely!!! There are friends for every season of our lives, some come and go, some are there for a lifetime, some almost fill your lungs with air. There are people I could call in the middle of the night (dont' worry, if you gave me your number I wouldn't likely call...LOL), there are those that you know are your friends even if it has been five years since you last talked to them...every person that passes through your life serves a purpose for who you are...gifts or triumphs shared are blessings tenfold!

Some people don't understand, but I have met so many good friends at this site it is unreal. I feel like I have known some of these people all my life. This is a good site with good folks.

Everybody here should pat themselves on the back for offering and accepting the friendships that are rampant on this site. If you follow the threads we all have been part of other peoples lives through sick kids and spouses, abuse, separation, divorce, death and all manner of the pitfalls of life. One thing is a constant....we care about others! Regardless of your circumstances and problems there is almost always someone who is or has been in even worse situations and is genuinely trying to help you survive your present catastrophe. Thank you naughty people for being so real and caring!

my friend that lives in the country and has severe arthritis( i have talked about him here before )called me an hour ago. he was trying to load a large rock for his wifes flower garden yesterday, when he slipped,fell and messed up his bad knee...again! when he called he asked if i could do him the small favor of feeding a dog he was sitting for. my answer(of course) was " hell yes!get your ass in here with the key" as i have said before, there isnt anything i can think of that i WOULDNT do for him , if he asked !i know he feels the same way about me, we have been good friends for over 40 years. i feel sorry for people that dont have this kind of friend !!!!!

Firstly i justed wanted to say to all the friends i have made on here, thank you for being so great  
I have quite a few friends i have known all my life, we went through school together ect. I can trust them all 100% and we are always there for each other.
My cousin is my best mate, we have only fallen out once when we were 13. We either see or speak to each other everyday, our kids are very close and our youngest ones are great friends. I love her to bits and couldn't imagine my life without her in it,
I have friends at work and people i see and have a chat with.
