Air Kisses
Is anyone else as uncomfortable as me with all this air kissing pa-lava? All those fake and pretence "muah, muah muah's" leave me cringing.
Whatever happened to the good old handshake, or a nice squeezy hug and a peck on the cheek?

personally , I love a handshake with a guy, ladies I prefer a nice friendly wet, tongue in the mouth, french kiss, followed by slipping my hand up her skirt & squeezing her butt cheek....lol

Now that is the type of greeting I love. Yes the muah's drive me crazy too. I always wonder if they really mean they are glad to see me or know me. A good handshake or hug as you look in a person's eyes is the best way to know how they really feel.

You betcha, air kisses are pretentious...I'm a handshake person if I don't know them very well but a hug and a kiss on the cheek is usually in order if I've known them for a while...

i guess it depends who the reciever is,
if its a total stranger then its a handshake, and if its a real friend (lib) then its a hug and a kiss, but for those in-between people, like that weird aunt (we all have one) then probably the safest thing is to stick with the air kiss

Air kisses really are horribly fake and I avoid them by just grabbing the "kisser" and giving her a big hug before she gets a chance. Hugs are not fake and we need more of them.....a human connection is always good and we all need lots of those every day. Guys get a real handshake at a minimum, men I know well get a hug too. Theres nothing remotely sexual in my hugs I just have to express my feelings for other people cuz I love everybody! Try it, you and everybody around you will be in a better mood for the rest of the day after that hug.

air kisses are left for my niece to send me... and thats the kind that include the hand tossing them to me. otherwise i'm hugging you and your boobs, or shaking your hand. thats how you make a personal connection and build trust with otherwise strangers.

Aww'com'mon now air kisses have their place and can be fun, like when your out shopping and see a hot woman through a window as your walking the mall, sometimes they give you one back, or just a smile or they pretend they didnt see you. Another good place is across the office at a friendly co-worker when no one else is looking. And the best place to use one is when a loved one has a cold sore  never have had one and do not want to take a chance
