Population...
What best describes where you live...city, urban, suburban, country, rural or isolated?
I'm somewhere between "rural" and "isolated"...

Re: Population...
I live in a city of about 5,000, but we are mostly rural to isolated. Me personally, I'd rather be isolated. Just me and nature.

Re: Population...
I'm in the country, in a village surrounded by miles of fields and then water. It's about 20-30minute drive to the bigger towns. My village and the next one, has resturants and local shops, schools, dentists and doctors.

Re: Population...
I live east and a little north of Atlanta close to Athens. It's still country, but that's changing fast. I'm a Pastry Chef so I have to work in Atlanta if I want to make the big $$$. Traffic sucks way bad. One consolation, Athens is home to UGA so I've always got pretty girls to flirt with at the pubs.

Re: Population...
I wish I lived in the country but no such luck. Metro Dallas-Ft Worth is now estimated at 6 million souls and sprawls over most of 6 counties. That's big even for Texas! My "little" suburb is over 100,000 and growing every day. You really can't tell where one city stops and another begins except for signs along the road. The plus side is that you can find anything here, some of which you wish you hadn't. If you want a restaurant GuideLive lists almost 4000. I can't begin to make a dent in that list. Too crowded and too many "furiners" here now, you know Yankees and stuff. You might meet anybody here and usually do. Makes life interesting for sure.

Re: Population...
We live in a fairly small town. 10,000 people. Pretty much a rural town. It seems to be growing alot though.

Re: Population...
I live so far out in the woods, the screeching cats let us know its bed time, the hoot owls and cackling chickens wake us in the morning, the Daffodil ls tell of springtime, a garden of vegetables pass the summer days and the falling acorns remind you to pull the snow blower out, if a power line goes down, the well goes out, it is 10 miles to WalMart for drinking water, and 7 miles for gas for the generator.
