Stalking.
Sometimes, a little "stalking" is kinda of a fun, flirty and flattering thing...sometimes it's creepy and dangerous.
Have you ever stalked someone, or been stalked in the fun flattering way? Like little mental notes of a person's routine so you can "bump" into them?
Have you ever become a little over obsessive with someone, forcing them to tell you to "Leave me alone or else"...
Or have you had to tell a persistant pursuer to "Just go away!!"

Re: Stalking.
I'm not the stalking kind...if someone doesn't want me around I'm willing to go away, I have way too much pride. When I was younger it wasn't called stalking and there were no laws to protect you...I worked in a little retail place and there was this guy that would come in from time to time to pick up various things for his mother. We started getting alot of hang up calls at the store and at my home. Then he started following me around and my dad found candy papers and cigarette butts outside of my bedroom window.
One night my boyfriend at the time had stopped by my work and walked me to my car, he left ahead of me to stop and get gas on the way to my house, he changed his mind because the line was too long and decided to get gas when we went out. On the way to my house he noticed that every time I switched lanes or made a turn the car behind me did too. When I drove up in front of my house the car behind me turned off his lights and parked down the street. My boyfriend in front of my house and walked across the street and pulled the guy out of the car through his window and proceeded to scream and yell at this guy and hold him down. My parents called the police and in his car was a stack of candy wrappers and the same kind of cigarette butts that were outside my bedroom window.
It turned out he was a convicted sex offender on parole and he went back to jail...so, yes, I had a stalker...

Re: Stalking.
I think a little bit of "stalking" is kinda natural when a couple has broken up and one isn't ready to move on yet...ex's are excellent stalkers!
And the ones that stalk a tiny bit, becasue they are smitten and want to get to know someone...
Then there's the criminally scarey ones, like Juilianna wrote about, and the Sandra Bullock stalker...

I agree Chazzy...watching someone you are curious about is one thing...it is all in the intent...hell, if flirtation is stalking I'm screwed!!!

Well, that kind of leaves the field open doesn't it? You'd be very helpful in the dressing room, how do you feel about shopping with me...it could be alot of fun, especially in those places where they boast security cameras!!!

Re: Stalking.
Stalking sucks....that's for sure, it's a shame where spontaneouty, a leaping heart, throwing caustion to the wind... use to be kinda fun and romantic...now dammit, stalkers kills that buzz... you might end up with changing your phone numbers, blocking emails and IM's, installing extra security devices around your home, carrying around pepper spray, and spending time downtown filing a restraining order...and at first, ya really thought they were such a nice person!
