What happened??
I see the authorities are ratcheting up the investigation in ARUBA over the HOLLOWAY mystery. They searched another suspects living quarters and interrogated him extensively recently. Why now, at such a late date?
I have a theory about this whole case. She left the casino that last night with a few young men that she met the previous night. Her friends did not want to go along with her. What happened after she left the casino is not clear. I think she started partying with these men and things got out of hand and maybe she hit her head on something, say a rock and died. The men panicked, buried the body and are way too scared to say anything about it.
I'm betting that authorities will continue to put pressure on the men and one will crack and spill his guts. That is my theory.
Anyone else have any thoughts about this situation?

although i REALLY hope you are right Bill, after this much time has passed, i just dont believe that young woman will EVER be found. wherever they buried her remains,its doubtful that the authorities can get enough co-operation to find them.

Seeing that the young men involved were not trouble makers or had been in trouble with the law previous to that fateful night, I'm sure at least one of them will, in the near future, feel the need to clear their conscience by telling HOLLOWAY'S mom and dad what they need to know!

I posted this a couple of weeks ago in the "whodunnit" thread...is this what you're talking about VB, or has there been new imformation since then?

"They" say they have new information on Natalie Hollaway's disappearance and are now tearing up the front and back yard of the Van Der Sloot's home, confiscating computers and all kinds of stuff from thier house too....
I sure hope they can discover the truth for her family soon!

I still have hope that they will some how uncover the truth here, cold cases 20, 30, 40 years old and older have been solved, I'm hoping this one won't take so long.

Actually, CHAZZY, the DUTCH authorities are now leaning on the other men, other than VAN SLOOT, that were named as the original group that allegedly accompanied HOLLOWAY from the casino that fateful night. This latest roust happened this past weekend.

I'll have to check into that....the last word I heard was that there were some recent emails or instant messages that brought about a renewed interests in the Van Der Sloot's....I'm just pleased that Natalie is still a high priority....

This latest roust by the DUTCH authorities, not the ARUBAN authorities, is of the other men (friends of VAN SLOOT) that accompanied NATALIE HOLLOWAY along with VAN SLOOT, from the casino that fateful night. You just know one of these dick-heads is gonna crack!
I believe the NETHERLANDS (DUTCH) authorities decided to step i and take over he investigation because the local guys were afraid to get too pushy with the powers that be, ie; the VAN SLOOTS and the other families of the men in question. The DUTCH are not intimidated by the locals.

I beleive it was the dutch authorities that recently searched the Van Der SLoots home, and confiscated the computers....I'm gonna guess that the boys got a little loose lipped with emails between them?

I have seen, first hand, the prison on the north shore of ARUBA. Talk about f**kin' isolated!! I can only imagine what VAN SLOOT and his posse are thinkin' right this moment! "Will my cell mate Big Brutus, be gentle with me? Will it hurt real bad? Will I learn to like being back doored"?
