strawberry meth...
apparently some crackhead assholes have decided to make strawberry flavored meth...and are giving it to little kids in hte form of "pop-rocks" candy, and in liquid form as strawberry nesquick...what the hell is wrong with these people??
we had a drug bust in my town this past tuesday, where the same M.O. was used except it was in the form of chocolate nesquick. i guess that i had better sit my kids down and talk with them. they are a little young, but since this happened in my neighborhood...i'm kinda scared!!!

There are so many sick, twisted bastards out there that don't only sell and take drugs but have to offer it to kids who don't have a clue what they are getting in to! This area has had 21 confirmed teen deaths from "cheese" a mixture of cocaine and Tylenol PM. What a tragic waste! Some Asian countries have a pretty effective deterrent to drugs.....dealers are given the death penalty. I doesn't completely stop drug traffic but it slows it way, way down. We ought to consider this as well.

There have been some episodes of this here in south Ga. also. Some of us health care professionals are speaking at some of the schools and putting the word out to teachers to share. But we all know the best teachers are parents. I also agree with Smitty that stiffer penalties including death might stop some of this if they were inforced.

It was in the paper last week. They have names for a lot of things now that are variations on the names of popular candy... and they make 'em taste like it. Sick ******* world we live in, isn't it?

The flavored meth has been around some time, its just now getting the publicly. The theory is that if you hook em young, you'll have customers for years to come.
Even if the penalty is life in prison, these clowns have the mentality that they will never get caught, nor will it slow down the sale of this shit. As far as the parents being the best teachers, for some I would agree, others are the problem. This thing with meth reaches every spectrum of the social structure, no one class or group has immunity.

Yep...flp...parents aren't always the best teachers...in my area just a few years ago, a woman got busted becasue she confused her very young daughter's envelope to take to school for the teacher, for her meth customers envelope...yep..the poor child took a half gram of meth to her teacher!!!
Most do think they won't get caught..tweakers either think they are bullet proof, or they are paranoid about being caught, they are dangerous always trying to defend themselves and their stash, sometimes using booby traps and such.
