What is love?
I need both male and female viewpoints and see what the people think...and is it gender related.
Short answer to start (freely translated from Tagalog (or Pilipino): "It is an ocean of emotion....surrounded by expenses". Your thoughts and comments please.

Re: What is love?
Love to me, means that you can see the world and everything in it without the complications of pettiness like jealousy and competitiveness...when these kinds of things pose no threat to you...you can love with open heart and mind, unconditionally..
As for romantic love (totally different thing!) to me means it is a true love, a devoted committed monogomous love...it may last a few months, decades or could last a lifetime, but it is nonetheless, a true romantic love.
