Water
Is what comes out of your tap good enough? Do you buy a specific brand of single serving drinking water, do you use the large 5 gallon bottled water system, or any water purifying systems?

Re: Water
Until they reroute the water lines, the stuff coming out of our tap has high levels of chlorine and fluoride. We buy water by the jugs. I do use the tap water for certain things.
When we used to travel to Arkansas for the weekend there was a natural spring up in the hills where we'd fill up gallon jugs and bring it home with us. I need to get back up there soon... that water is soooooooo good!

Re: Water
I wont drink it out of the tap - but our fridge has a filter and I will drink it from the fridge dispenser.

Re: Water
Our tap water is harder than a rock and just doesn't taste all that great. It's OK for making coffee, as our coffee maker does have a filter on it. But I want just plain water, I grab a bottle that we bought at the store. No favorite one, just what ever is cheap.

Re: Water
I have my own well, its down 165ft. So there are not any toxic chemicles like fluride or chlorine that you get from city water. but we only use that water for shower, laundry, dishs, the pool and garden, it also goes to the refrig and is filtered for drinking, but I wonder if the ice maker water gets filtered also? In any event I personaly only drink bottled water (Ice Mountain)from Costco, I get 35 (18oz) bottles for around 5 bucks.

Re: Water
Hell, when I was a kid and times were tough, we sometimes had to drink whatever ran down over the top of our boots---and we we're glad to get it!
