How about "Balut"? It is a great delicacy in the Philippines. It is a fertile duck egg near its time to hatch, served warm and eaten literally on the "half shell".....real chewy!(except for the pin feathers)

I understand that one, NR.
Weirdest food I have ever eaten and liked has to be turtle. When I was just entering my teens, my Aunt made what I thought was fried chicken...I didn't know till I asked for seconds what it really was, lol, but even after, I finished it anyway.
Normal weird food (lol, yes, there is such a thing) is Peanut butter on Bananas. Also with a tall , ice cold glass of milk.

Re: Funky Food . . .
I love my apple slices with peanut butter...my husband being a Brit thinks allot of things I eat are strange, he thinks it's just awful that I like fresh tomaotoe slices on the side, and will only eat tomatoes if their on a sandwich or a salad.
