Sherly Crow
We all got a taste of what about her really pisses you off. VB...
It was all suppose to just be a benefit concert for the local biggie here, Cardinal Glennon Hospital, it's a children's hospital that does absolutely fantastic things for sick children and their parents...
But with Crow on the bill, it became a controversy, people wanted to support the hospital benefit, but no one wanted to be in the same building with Crow...
Some of the most important people associated with the hospital, for the first time ever, did not attend(Like the Bishop!)
The people organizing the concert did so in advance so her new spouting wave left them little choice but to proceed as planned.

I have no problem with her appearing at the concert as long as she keeps her political opinions to herself. I don't need someone preaching to me what I should believe in. Same goes for the DIXIE CHICKS. Just because you can carry a tune, doesn't make you a political pundit. Your opinion doesn't carry any weight with me. I've been on this freakin' earth 57 years. I've absorbed enough reality to form an intelligent mind set. My vote has the same weight as yours does, so Ms. CROW, shut the f**k up and do what I paid for.

I used to love Ms. Crow...now I feel like she needs to eat a little of it...
Yes, I must admit that I like my music artists/favorite actors/actresses to not be spoutin' their mouths off about politics. I'll admit there are those that can give their opinions when asked, just like you and I without going into a tirade and looking like idiots...for instance when Oprah was asked who she would vote for in this next election she said who it was and didn't dwell on it...you don't see her on a soap box wearing some sloppy t-shirt and looking like a fool...

Ya know... a performer who relies on ticket sales, CD sales and other merchandising...that's one thing, then I have a clear choice as to whether or not I want to support their lifestyle of spewin' crap...
But to be controversial, outspoken, pissin' people off...stay out of the benefit circuit...
My daydream scenario here would have been for people to buy the tickets for her concert to benefit the children's hospital, and then ripped them up, stay home, and make Sherly play to a nearly empty or empty house!

The latest on SCARE.....er...SHERYL CROW's "1 square of toilet paper" comment at a environmental rally 2 weeks ago was that she was only joking!! WTF? It sure didn't sound like she was joking at the time. Could it be she was the brunt of too many jokes or maybe her fans gave her hell for sounding f**king stupid? Who knows?
SHERYL, a bit of advice from a fan of your music. Stick to singing and leave the political commentary to the other butt wipes!!!!!
