What a silly thing to be arrested for, you have so many nasty things going on in the world, but if you show affection in India, you've had it!!!!!

Re: The Kiss....
Ever since Richard Gere spoke at the Concert for NY that Paul McCartney organized after 9/11, Ive had Z E R O respect for him! I don't remember what he said verbatim, but he basically justified what the terrorists did and was all but booed off the stage by an audience full of NY Firemen, Police and other first responders. He's nothing more than another overpaid blowhard that uses his celebrity to voice his opinions. I thought the kiss was idiotic and moronic and if I wasn't afraid of being groped like he did to that actress, I'd tell him to kiss my ass! He should move in with the Dali Lama and never be heard from again.

Re: The Kiss....
Okay...had a little time this evening for googling...ended up on a few sites that featured celebrity quotes.
I really long for the day when actors, singers, dancers, comedians acted, danced, sang and told jokes...and just entertained us....

Re: The Kiss....
Entertainment, storytelling and conversation are in danger of becoming "lost arts". Reality sucks when applied to TV and movies today. They either recycle comic book heroes or make sequels of the same dumb movies they passed out 2 years ago. Special effects and sex sells so make the scenes as graphic as possible for a PG-13 rating and blow up everything in sight. Story line? Character development? Why bother. the 'rubes" will pay to watch it anyway. It is unfortunately, all about money, and really always has been. The movie theater used to have a new feature a week and studios really cranked movies out in a hurry to have a new release available for that market in the 30s and 40s and even in to the early 50s. Then along came TV. Totally passive "entertainment" has become the rule for most people.
<getting up on my soapbox> Residents of this naughty place, ARISE! Fight this horrible trend in society by taking yourselves to one of the local chat rooms and pour out your soul to your neighbors. Hold nothing back, start conversations shamelessly and exercise your right to free speech. Only in this way can we counteract this great evil of mediocracy and passivity!
Now don't you feel better? See you in the Lobby.......
