My last nerve...
Okay...let's call this one a forum game...
Can you guess how many yowling female cats in my house are in heat right now??? Can you???
(Arrrgghhhh!!!! What a headache! Okay, they wouldn't be yowling so much if I hadn't already nuetered all my male cats)

Re: My last nerve...
Funny you should mention that today. This morning early, about 6 or so I opened the office window (where my big white cat sits half the day), & a big grey & black tiger-striped female cat (have never seen her before) jumped up on the Weber cover under the window, starts rubbing her face around on the screen then turns around and sticks her fuzzy little ass right up against the screen in his face. THAT was subtle! Damn, sure wish I could meet a lady like that! Even just to see her balancing on the hood of the grill!

Re: My last nerve...
That's just so cute, Tung....I've got the opposite going on here, I've got these female cats in the house, and the visitor is a tom that sits outside on the sill of my kitchen window...
I have my "next to be spayed" list...but the last cat we got is the freakin' loudest....I'm bumping her up to the top of the list!!

Re: My last nerve...
Ahhh...it's a little quieter today....I put bird seed outside several windows, and the females are busy watching birds and squirrels at close range...
And it's three...three female cats in heat all at once!

Re: My last nerve...
speaking of cats . . . I came home today, after no sleep yesterday - work last night - finals today, to find a small spot of cat puke on the carpet. Ok, all I could think was I hope she did not puke in my bed. So, I sit down at the computer and prop my foot up on a near by chair . . . my foot landed smack in the cat puke. How does that happen??? Of all the places . . right where I put my foot!!

Re: My last nerve...
Dogs and cats have an unerring sense of where to leave you their "tokens of esteem". My dog has done that several times (usually after rummaging through the trash bag). Chazzy with 3 cats in heat at the same time be careful you don't have a cat-ass-trophy!

I'll be happy when there's enough in our budget to start getting them spayed! We'll all be happier around here!

Hey Chazzy, do they have P.A.W.S. or another organization in your area for neutering or spaying cats? I used them for my cats and dogs, and it was very reasonable.

Re: My last nerve...
The local vets around here usually have a good program this time of year, and the Humane society always issues a discount ticket to use too...also...I'll have to check the United Animal Nation website and see if I qualify there, they have allot of funded programs. (One is the Doris Day Foundation) and they will pay a huge chunk of Vet bills for any rescued animal...they payed over $200 on a $400 on a leg amputation vet bill when we rescued our cat Schnagsy, (He's still doing just great, btw!)
