Anticipation
When was the last time, or the most memorable time, you were just sooooo anxious with anticipation?

Re: Anticipation
I am filled with anticipation every time I message someone. Waiting for a hopefully favorable reply does it for me.

Re: Anticipation
Today was the most recent time I've been deeply anticipating something...that's what happens with the events I plan...you work and you work hard to make certain all details have been seen too and that all goes well...and you pray that everyone will do their part to make their presentations flawless and that no one will say something inappropriate (especially when the press is around which they were today). You try to anticipate any problems...but then there is always an unexpected kicker...for instance like it being recycling day in your office building and 25 recycling bins being placed in the reception area of the lobby...i.e. holy shit one hour before your event is supposed to start and big wigs from the across the state are going to be attending and it looks like a freaking BFI convention is going on when everyone enters!!! You go to work finding the building people and everyone is pushing recycling bins into hallways so the politico's don't have a clue what happened when they arrived an hour later...

Re: Anticipation
Hmmmmmmmm. I remember the day. I planned a trip to Little Rock. I had to get someone to take care of the kids, take time off work, find a hotel room, a decent airline ticket. Go shopping and find the absolutely perfect outfit (which he can't even tell you to this day what color I was wearing). Teach in the morning, park my car, catch my flight and wow -- that 3 hour flight was so hard. I had to drink a glass of wine, slow deep breath, my heart beating so fast as the flight landed. Walk on shaky legs (with high heels no less) down the long hall way, praying I wouldn't trip, dying to see him, scared to death to see him, and there he was. Just standing there waiting for me, his hands in his pockets. For a moment I just stood there and then I ran, throwing myself into his arms - Thank God he caught me. That first hug, that first kiss after over 20 years, wow.... yes he was worth the wait!
