The dinner bell.....
Where do you eat your meals? Do you sit at the kitchen or dining room table, take a plate and sit in front of the TV, or maybe take your meals in front of the computer?
Maybe you're a busy, busy peron who ends eating allot of meals behind the wheel?
Do you have any tradition meal times, like Sunday dinner at a close relatives, or set aside supper time for family time?

Re: The dinner bell.....
Since there's just me and the doggy now, usually in the kitchen at the breakfast bar or on a TV tray in the living room. I try to go out with the kids for Sunday dinner 2-3 times a month but with soccer schedules, scouts, school events my "Soccer Mom" daughter and grandson don't always make it.

Re: The dinner bell.....
I eat at the table with the boys, my oldest hates the fact he has to be in for dinner, but he makes sure he does every night on time. It's nice as they can tell me about their day and if they have any problems. We have a laugh and it's nice to spend time together. Once a week we have take out, so that is when we sit in front of the telly together.

I tend to grab something and sit here and eat as going through the forums. When Pa is home we might go out or we eat as we watch our tv shows.

Re: The dinner bell.....
Like Liz, I grew up eating dinner and the table. (If we didn't have jobs outside the family) It was family time to tell what we did during the day and was also when we got our "marching orders" for the next day. That tradition carried over when the kids were home(provided they weren't working somewhere). Since the kids are all gone we eat in front of the T.V. Hell, we don't even have a table anymore.

Re: The dinner bell.....
During the week, I'll get home about 7:30, make dinner and then my wife will come home about 8:30 and then we sit at the table to eat. We do not eat in front of the television. Never have! This way, we can discuss our day.
On weekends, we normally go out to eat or just snack.

I was raised up eating at the table, but since i'm alone, I don't follow that rule so much, I usually eat watching the television. If I did have a family, I'd still be eating at the table
