Hair
How much time and effort do you give your hair? Do you go all out everyday, with hot rollers, blow dryers, gels, mousses, sprays, spritzes? How about perms and straightners?
Do you have a standing appointment with a barber, salon or stylist, every week, every month?
Do you "go for it" and change the highlights, color and cut often or stick with one cut and style that works for you?
Do you trust only one brand of hair products, or do you like trying different ones?
Do any of you men fret abit about your receding hairlines, any of you use the rogaine or similiar products?

Re: Hair
I'm adventurous in the hair department. When I find my life is getting to me I find a new cut, I just recently had six inches cut off of mine. I color very regularly and have deep auburn/burgandy hair...LOL...a little deeper right after it is colored.
I like to wear my hair in different ways and yes, I have to do rollers every day because my hair is naturally curly and if I don't it freaks out and has a mind of its own...believe me the humidity here in Texas makes all those crazy products a necessity!!! It takes alot of time to look like Juilianna didn't take alot of time on herself...

Re: Hair
I can't worry about/with my hair anymore....there's not that much to mess with. The solar panel on top is only partially covered so I getting stronger and more powerful every day. A little hair gel to combat the wind and a comb is all I need to face the day. I had a stylist tell me that men are generally more vain about their hair than women...I guess I'm different (quiet Moon!).

Re: Hair
i used to have beautiful long hair and it was pretty low maintenance. i would get natural highlites in the summer and i would enhance them in the salon. now after loosing all of my hair to chemo i am real anxious to see how it will come in. i've heard many stories saying that if it was straight before it will come in curly or visa versa. now that i've changed chemo treatments, my hair is making a come back and it is almost long enough to act as the worlds shortest haircut.

Re: Hair
During the week my hair is put up for work, so easy maintenance. I do have it down at weekends, so depending on my mood, i will straighten it or just blow dry it.
I do colour my hair, it is naturally black, but at the moment it is a dark red with lighter red highlights and it is a gold colour underneath.
I use the same hair products all the time, as i like them.
Liz, i bet you will have your beautiful hair back really soon.

Re: Hair
I don't do much with my hair. I have to keep it in a ponytail for work. I don't use alot of hair products. I do blow dry if we are going someplace. normally my hair is straight.
Use to get colors every now and then when i worked in the salon. I use to be the one when they got bored they would think of things to do to my hair.

Re: Hair
Is this subject about hair north of the border or south?
If we're talking about north then I wash and rinse everyday with some high price crap my wife bought me, then comb straight back! I do have my head hair "conditioned" blonde!! Wicked beautiful!!
If this subject concerns follicles located south of waist level, I really don't do anything. My "nest" is naturally curly. I think I may trim it back a tad though.....then my junk will look huge!!!!!!

Re: Hair
I'm really picky when it comes to my hair. Finally found a stylist that does it how I want. lol I used to cut, color, and highlight my hair myself. I have a standing appointment every 3 weeks to get my hair trimmed and then every 6 weeks to get all the works done.
