Super Human Strength
Chazzy and I were just visiting in one of the forum posts about the parents of children that have been tortured and slain by wicked and evil people. What do you think helps the Mark Lunsfords, the John Walsh's, and the other parents be able to move outside of their comfort zones and stand up for their children even after a monster has invaded their lives? I'm so respectful of how these people survive and do great things, making a difference through what happened instead of curling up in a ball and dying inside. I thank them, I applaud them, and for my children I appreciate that they are attempting to make the world a safer place for my babies.

I haven't heard of the two guys you mention Juils, but anyone who helps keep innocent children safe is a hero in my book. I would happily kill anyone who hurt my boys and i'd make sure they were tortured and made to suffer. Anyone who can hurt a child, needs to be locked in a room with the parents. If it is their own children, they shouldn't be given a chance to get help, they should never be allowed to look after them again. I know i sound hard, but i don't feel anyone should have a second chance after abusing or hurting a child.

FYI, the guys I was talking about lost children at the hand of evil molester's and murders, they have managed to turn their tragedies into activist rolls.

Mark Lunsford is the father of Jessica Lunsford, she was a 9 year old that was kidnapped, kept in a closet for days and then buried alive by a sex offender living in her neighborhood.
Polly Klos was a child abducted right out of her own bed and found murdered.
Mark Klos, Polly's father is responsible for a law about sex offenders being registered, this law bears his daughter's name
Lunsford absolutely amazed us by sitting quietly, perfectly still while the beast on trial for his daughter's murder gave all the sick details including how she was buried alive. How he stayed silent in his chair during that can only be described as super human. Amazing man

John Walsh...I can't even imagine where we would be without him...Adam Walsh, his son was abducted and found murdered, I think about 20 years ago, and since then John (America's Most Wanted TV show host) has devoted every moment of his life to catching predators and criminals of all kind.
His own son's murderer has never been caught.

It's a good article to read for sure....and BTW, although the rules here don't allow for webaddresses and urls, I did allow this one, the rule is mostly to prevent allot of self promotion (come cam with me for $3.99 a minute at this blahblah.com or see myspace profile and get my email address from there and turning the forums into advert space for other sites,etc...)
I cannot guarantee that another mod will not edit this out, or absix himself ream my ass for my decision to allow it.

That is awful, those poor children and their families. You are right, those parents are amazing.
We had a young girl over here a couple of years ago who was taken while playing with her brother and killed. Her mum is fighting for a register which tells you if there are any sex offenders living in your area. I think we should all be aware who is living near our children. They say it breeches their human rights, but what about our childrens?????

I still like my thoughts on having an electric shock sensor attached to their taliwacker's and anytime they have any sexual desire arise they get the crap shocked out of them...the only problem is that some of the sick fucks out there may very well get their jollies from it...
Here's my deal...children are off limits folks...let's cherish them, enjoy them, laugh with them, teach them empathy and triumph...that's what creating a better world should be about...no child left behind emotionally should be our goal too!!!

this definitely is Super Human Strength...to enable ur mind to go beyond the sheer evil nature of the people that have caused these afflictions...and channel the energy and the intellect to use for the betterment of others..which ultimately mitigates someone else's pain...
...i for one truly don't belive "time heals all pain"...it's what one does with the time for acceptance and understanding which enables any healing to take place..
that's my soapbox for now...

I also am in awe of the Hornbecks, who day after day, for 4 years, never let go of the hope that their son, Sean could still come home. This is the kind of stress that after time, usually tears families apart, but they worked together for Sean, and for all families that do not know where their children are.

I gotta tell ya....all the families of troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other areas of "unrest"....I don't know how they hold themselves together!
Same goes for the spouses and families of police, firemen, etc...I'd worry myself to death! These are extrodinary people.

Let me add, when I think of soldiers, thier personal strength is amazing, but I often (being such a history freak) think of the families of soldiers from earlier wars and conflicts, they did not have the astounding instant means of communication that we have now....how strong they had to be, waiting weeks and weeks for a letter to arrive.

I would definitly nominate Moonhowler for a person showing extrodinary super human power for all that she has gone through with her pregancy with Tater, and her motherly devotion with his care since his birth...

Ok, readin' this brought a tear to my eye... y'all are definitely the greatest! And I know that every mother that I've met on here is no different than me. They'd do anything for their babies.... The world would have a much brighter future if we had more moms AND dads in the world like the ones I've had the pleasure of meeting here on WN!
